From its humble beginnings in 1941, Pacific Seafood has grown to employ over 2,500 people at 37 facilities, with processing plants stretching along the Pacific Coast and distribution facilities in seven states.
Pacific Seafood Group is a seafood processing and distribution company that launched in 1941 as a small, fresh seafood retail operation in Portland, Ore.
In 1984 Frank Dulcich introduced the Diamond Philosophy to team members.
Pacific Seafood purchased its first vessel, the Pacific Conquest, in 1986.
Pacific Seafood purchased its first Alaska processing facility in 1988 in Nikiski, Alaska.
Pacific Seafood purchased Pacific Fish in Seattle in 1995, this merged with Pacific Pride Seafood to become Pacific Seafood of Washington.
Coast Seafoods Co. followed in 2011 and Pacific Seafood is now one of the leading farming operations in oysters, clams, and mussels.
In 2012 Pacific Seafood of Washington became the first Pacific Seafood distribution center with a standalone meat cutting facility, providing other strategic proteins to our expanding seafood customer base.
With the purchase of the Jennifer Street building in 2014, Pacific Seafood Clackamas has expanded to a 20 acre campus with over 300 team members during peak season.
Pacific Seafood launched its 75th Anniversary celebration in March of 2016 at the International Boston Seafood Expo.
