The Business Development Support group plays an integral part in the initial sales/marketing process for prospective clients, as well as in the servicing of PIMCO's existing clients and investment consultants worldwide. The BDS team utilizes a collaborative team approach and works closely with PIMCO's investment professionals, especially with Product Strategists and Account Managers, to respond to new business proposals across PIMCO's public and private market strategies and provide superior client servicing.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Developing a strong understanding of the firm's strategy offerings and overall investment approach; presenting strategy summaries in bi-weekly meetings
Researching and analyzing market trends, competitor activities and client needs to provide actionable insights
Learning how to access, analyze and report data from the firm's proprietary systems, the BDS team's content library software and other data solutions actively used across the firm to service clients.
Assisting with the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and questionnaires (general and due diligence), and various ad hoc requests to maintain strong client relationships and aid in business growth
You'll excel as a Business Development Support Analyst if you:
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Are familiar with financial markets and have a strong interest in learning about fixed income, the asset management industry, and client/consultant relationships
Have demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which are crucial for data analysis and market research

Since launching its first opportunistic credit vehicles over 15 years ago, PIMCO has developed a significant presence in both alternative credit and private investment strategies. Our strategies include those that seek to identify value primarily in listed securities, relying on fundamental and capital structure analysis, and also strategies that seek to privately finance the debt and equity needs of companies, asset holders, and origination platforms. We invest globally across commercial and residential real estate and mortgage credit, performing and distressed corporate debt, and specialty finance markets.
You will work alongside seasoned associates and Portfolio Managers, focusing on financial modeling and qualitative analysis in support of direct lending and special situations/distressed debt investing. 2026 Investment Banking Summer Associate Program
Nomura Investment Banking is seeking intellectually curious and driven students to join as Summer Associates. The Summer Associate Program runs for ten weeks, with a one-week intensive training course, followed by a nine-week placement within a sector coverage or product group. The program offers Summer Associates an opportunity to work alongside our investment bankers on a variety of live transactions as well as client-facing business development initiatives.
Our program begins in early June and provides Summer Associates with the same amount of exposure as a first-year Associate, with hands-on opportunities to participate as full members of the team and extensive contact with Investment Banking professionals at all levels. Nomura Investment Banking is seeking intellectually curious and driven students to join as Summer Analysts. The Summer Analyst Program runs for ten weeks, with a one-week intensive training
course, followed by a nine-week placement within a sector coverage or product group. The program offers Summer Analysts an opportunity to work alongside our investment bankers on a variety of live transactions as well as client-facing business development initiatives.

As a Trade Floor Operations Analyst intern within the US Trade Floor Operations group, you'll have the opportunity to develop your career by learning about and working within the following three teams:
Cash Desk:
The Cash Desk is one of the key operational units at PIMCO, responsible for managing cash, reporting client cash flows, and providing internal cash forecasts in all client accounts, mutual funds, and hedge funds. The team works closely with the Portfolio Management group to ensure projected overdrafts are covered and facilitates the investment of excess cash into liquid securities. The Cash Desk interacts regularly with a diverse group of professionals, including: portfolio managers, account managers, internal operations groups, clients, State Street IMS, and custodian banks.
Middle Office:
The Middle Office primary responsibility is management and governance over a key control environment that supports the day-to-day trade life cycle of the PIMCO Portfolio Management team. Middle Office team members will collaborate across internal functional teams: Portfolio Management, Trade Support, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Technology and State Street IMS (back office). In addition, the Middle Office will regularly engage with external parties such as broker dealers, custodian banks and third-party trading platforms.
Investment Operations:
Investment Operations (IO) is comprised of 2 teams, Investment Operations and Corporate Actions. The Investment Operations team mainly focuses on new securities, emerging market capabilities, FX execution means, claim and break resolution as well as custodial oversight. The Corporate Action Team oversees mandatory and voluntary corporate actions events, restructuring activities, proxy, bank loan amendments, defaulted securities processing, and class actions. Qualifications & Skills
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree and will graduate between December 2027 and Spring 2028.

2026 Summer Internship - Legal & Compliance Analyst
Internship positions are located at PIMCO's Newport Beach, CA Headquarters.
You're eligible to apply if you:
Pursuing an undergraduate degree
Must be able to begin full time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2027 - August 2027
Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2026 semester (August 2026 - December 2026)
Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
Are business proficient in English

The PIMCO Internship Program runs between Monday, June 8th - Friday, August 14th, 2026, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Work with our clients on complex, innovative financing and risk management solutions.
* Learn how to read complex financial models and understand how companies in the Technology sector are valued.
* Learn how equity deals are priced and play an active role in the origination and execution of transactions, while working closely with your Corporate Finance counterparts in Investment Banking.
* Help prepare materials to provide clients with valuable updates on market news and product trends, including how these affect their access to the equity capital markets.
* Work with our trading and syndicate desks on pricing views and deal execution.
* Analyze and create, for both corporate and financial sponsors, various equity financing alternatives.
Qualifications & Skills
* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree and will graduate between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
