JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a senior Quantitative Developer to join our Portfolio Management Analytics team in Newport Beach or NYC. The team is responsible for the development and enhancement of our analytics platform which provides pre-trade and risk valuations across the entire fixed income universe. You will be responsible for large scale software architecture, development and production releases mainly in C++ whilst having extensive exposure to high performance computing, cloud computing, messaging and caching. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation in latest computing techniques as well as ensuring robustness in system and production releases. This is a fully hands-on job in a highly productive environment which requires both meticulous attention to detail and rapid coding development.
REQUIREMENTS
* Master's degree in Computer Science or hard science/engineering with sweeping C++ development background. Graduation from a top school is preferred.
* 3-10 years of professional working experience with large-scale analytics systems at top tier financial firms. Directly working with fixed income trading systems with structured products knowledge is preferred.
* Extensive programming skills in C++ (STL, boost, design pattern, modern C++) and integration across multi languages such as boost-python.
* Experience with SDLC best practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and code review processes to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
* Proven ability to develop high-performance systems involving parallel processing, cloud computing platforms. Exposure to Redis and GPU acceleration preferred
* Strong ownership and attention to detail; comfortable managing wide-ranging responsibilities from prototyping to production deployment.

JOB DESCRIPTION
PIMCO is seeking a portfolio manager for its Newport Beach based Global and EM teams. The individual will be responsible for developing and managing options driven macro and relative value strategies in foreign exchange across developed and emerging markets that are intended to be used as alpha overlays and risk management of underlying portfolios. The candidate must show an aptitude for conceptualizing transactions, demonstrating the impact of trades and trade strategy, and communicating with portfolio managers and senior management. This candidate will also assist with trade execution and will be expected to manage and build strong working relationships with sell-side FX option market-makers on behalf of PIMCO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Combine market knowledge with macroeconomic and quantitative analysis to generate trade ideas in FX options across DM and EM.
Primary focus will be on FX options, with the opportunity to develop into a broader focus across multiple asset classes within global fixed income and foreign exchange.
Responsible for FX options execution across DM and EM across all PIMCO funds and client portfolios.
Prepare materials and presentations related to trade activity and market conditions, and write regular market commentary
Providing market color and insight to other portfolio managers

REQUIREMENTS

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 - $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Portfolio Associate Team Overview
Portfolio Associate team members directly support Portfolio Managers and build relationships internally with Account Managers, Product Managers, Legal and Compliance counterparts, Operations teams, and other Portfolio Associate teams across the firm's global offices. On a day-to-day basis, Portfolio Associates actively monitor portfolios to assist Portfolio Managers in rebalancing risks and providing operational support where necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring investment objectives are reflected across portfolios in scope

REQUIREMENTS

Excel “power user” - SQL, Python and other programming skills are preferred

Business plans and goals are specific, measurable and actionable and for the purposes of monitoring progress.

2026 Summer Internship - Finance & Accounting Analyst, US
Internship positions are located at PIMCO's Newport Beach, CA Headquarters.
You're eligible to apply if you:
Pursuing an undergraduate degree
Must be able to begin full time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2027 - August 2027
Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2026 semester (August 2026 - December 2026)
Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
Are business proficient in English
You'll excel as a Finance & Accounting Analyst if you:
Possess knowledge of accounting, finance, audit, and tax principles
Have effective analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Have a strong commitment to produce high quality work and attention to detail to ensure work is delivered completely, accurately, and timely.
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have a desire to join a high performance, fast-paced culture

See yourself as a Finance & Accounting Analyst
The Finance team is responsible for PIMCO's financial management, which includes financial planning and analysis, managing risks, accounting and controls, and reporting. PIMCO relies on the Finance team to provide reliable financial analysis and reporting to enable strategic business decisions and initiatives. The Finance team has over 100 professionals globally who provide expertise to operating jurisdictions around the world.
You'll gain a preview of the Finance team and an exposure to financial drivers of the firm, financial operations and accounting, and strategic decision making. The program will provide you with a wide network across Finance as you explore the many facets of the finance operations. Potential areas that you would work on projects within include Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Client Billing, and partnering with the Executive Office.
While our eligibility requirements are not flexible, we encourage you to apply even if you do not possess 100% of the desired skills outlined above.
The PIMCO Internship Experience:
The PIMCO Internship Program runs between Monday, June 8th - Friday, August 14th with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program
During Week 1, you'll participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training, providing you with the skills, knowledge, and relationships that will prepare you for success
Alongside your colleagues, participate in PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering, developed to heighten the impact of our employees' worldwide volunteer efforts
Join us for a variety of cross-divisional education, networking & social events!
Your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders and team offer guidance and mentorship throughout the summer
You'll receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process to keep you on the path to meeting your summer goals

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Hourly Rate: $ 34.61
