As you prepare for a life of discipleship, finding the right seminary is
crucial. Like the San Francisco Bay Area where it's located, Pacific
Lutheran Theological Seminary thrives on diversity. PLTS accepts
applicants regardless of race, background or sexual orientation. The seminary's urban location provides plenty of opportunities for
outreach, as well. College life at PLTS gives you the chance to explore
the community and spread the gospel of Jesus. The seminary is also part
of the Graduate Theological Union, which also comprises several other
religious graduate schools in the area. Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary offers graduate academics leading
to a master's or doctoral degree. A few certificate programs are also
available, in subjects like Theological Studies and Theological Education
for Emerging Ministries. Additionally, a six-week Biblical Greek course
is available during the summer. PLTS has a rolling admissions policy. While applications are accepted
until the start of each semester, it's a good idea to apply early, as
space is limited. Applying early will also maximize your eligibility for
financial aid. If you have questions about the application process,
please contact the school directly.Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary is a well-established organization. It was founded way back in 1952.
