This role will be responsible for completing inspections, conducting preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment (both fixed and mobile machinery) to minimize downtime while ensuring optimal life cycles of the equipment. Responsibilities: Inspect, service and repair all equipment including trucks, tractors, trailers, lugger trucks, roll-off trucks, choppers, balers, conveyors, shears, cranes, excavators, loaders, skid steers, fork trucks and other heavy equipment. About You: Must be experienced in performing routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns, execute repairs while working in a high demand environment. An understanding of electrical theory, control circuits, and motor controls is essential for troubleshooting and repairing both fixed and mobile equipment. Understanding and experience with industrial machinery and systems including PLCs and control systems is a plus. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic pumps, valves, and cylinders. Experience with cutting, welding and fabrication. Ability to accurately read electrical and hydraulic schematics. Ability to work under pressure while troubleshooting and diagnosing the root cause of equipment failures. Ability to identify job hazards while working in compliance with all safety regulations, environmental policies and industry standards.
