After completing a bunch of company "ethical code of conduct courses" there's no one to show you where to go or what you'll be doing. And before you know it you're getting wrote up for not wearing your PPE. Although it's not specified which PPE you're accused of being without, the date(s) you supposedly weren't wearing them is impossible because the supervisor who supposedly saw you wasn't even there that day. It doesn't matter if you're new and don't know your way around yet, they totally skip the verbal warning and go straight to the written one. Then a few weeks later when you unwittingly add a package to be shipped to a pile of packages because your lead told you to, you're fired, because the pile of packages tumbled to the floor. Even though it's the only package you added to the already unsteady pile of packages.

Nothing, I was hired as a shipping clerk but all I ever did was make boxes. I was always under scrutiny even though I hardly ever handled parts, god forbid if I was ever caught without my PPE. I hated this job. I would normally be happy they terminated me but at my age jobs are getting harder and harder to find.

Nothing, she lied on my disciplinary action for forgetting to put my safety glasses on. She wasn't even there on the days she said she saw me not wearing them.

If it is so important for new employees to wear their required PPE, I would be available to show my new protege's where they'll be working, the nearest bathrooms and the forbidden required PPE wearing areas were. So they wouldn't unwittingly wander into them. I sure as hell would treat each and every new hire with respect, kindness and fairness with a sense of belonging. I would give them projects to keep them busy all day so they wouldn't have to wander around wondering what they should do.

Since it was like my fifth time interviewing there, I just went as myself because I didn't want to get my hopes up again.

I guess it was good considering all I ever did was make boxes or stand around wondering what to do.

I guess it had a lot of different faces, I don't know
