DUTIES: (Essential Job Responsibilities)
• Work safely
• Install, test, repair and maintain all types, sizes and voltages of alternating current meters.
• Perform meter shop activities including operating all test equipment, refurbishing all alternating current meters, programming, software interface with electronic meters and meter database support.
• Maintain the meter stock.
• Wire up and install current, potential, and special metering jobs, and test and repair power and demand meters.
• Do distribution testing as needed, including investigating customers' complaints regarding voltage fluctuations, high bills etc. This will often require discussing the results of the investigation with the customer.
• Meet with customers and other members of the public and discuss matters such as meter accuracy and energy usage information.

Responsibilities
Journeyman Linemen shall meet the qualifications as set forth in this Agreement and shall supply the Union and the Company with satisfactory proof of their experience and knowledge. Linemen will perform Equipment Operations duties as per Section 15.37
Requirements
A high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A Journeyman Lineman certification or testing through IBEW Local 659.
Completion of a formal training program for a Journeyman Lineman.
Must meet examining board review of skills and experience.
Candidate must have formal hot stick training and experience.
Must own, or be able to obtain, a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
This position requires a post-offer, pre-placement physical capacity screening, conducted by a licensed physical therapist, to assure the candidate meets the physical demands of the job. The screening will assess only the identified physical demands of the job being applied for.
Physical Demands
The job duties of Lineman require lifting in excess of 75 lbs from floor to waist and waist to overhead, carrying in excess of 75 lbs with both hands, and pushing and pulling in excess of 100 lbs of exertional force. Job duties of the Lineman require sustained, awkward positions/postures including bending and twisting at the waist and neck; reaching forward, to the side, across the body and overhead. Additional requirements of the Lineman position include forceful grip and pinch; manipulation of small objects; balancing on one or both legs during dynamic activities; manipulation of large objects during activities requiring balance and sustained awkward postures.

Job Summary:
The Journeyman Machinist is able and willing to perform work throughout all stages of fabrication and can thrive in a procedurally oriented and fast paced environment. The role is responsible for checking their parts for configuration accuracy and dimensional verification prior to turning over to QC. A Journeyman Machinist operates computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, such as lathes and milling machines, to cut and produce precision parts for machines, instruments, and tools. This position repairs or produces parts using both manual and automated equipment with precise measurements.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with established Company policies and procedures
Read and understand engineering drawings and ASME Y14.5 symbols
Cut and Machine parts in accordance with Project documentation without need of direct supervision
Sufficient working knowledge of materials to determine the proper feeds and speeds for most efficient cutting
Design and fabricate fixtures as necessary to perform individual machining projects
Perform self-verification dimensioning of completed parts and assemblies before inspection to ensure quality of work performed meets or exceeds acceptance criteria
Interface with QA/QC personnel
Measure work pieces to determine accuracy and acceptability per given requirements
Ensure that all documentation is correctly filled out and kept current as work progresses
Keep a clean and organized work area
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' experience in machining
Extensive knowledge in programing multi axis CNC machines (Mills and Lathes)
Ability to proficiently operate manual machines (Lathes, mills, and surface grinders)
Minimum of 10 years' experience using MasterCam software
Have a strong aptitude in measuring equipment (Micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.…)
Ability to read, write and comprehend both verbal communications and written directions
Must pass an employment record, criminal background check and a drug screen (drug and alcohol free workplace)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in R&D or Prototype fabrication
Experience working to a NQA-1 program
Experience with program and operation of an Omax Water jet
Knowledge of CNC Plasma cutting
