Including equipment failures, process upsets, Product movements, and operational changes. * Perform preventative maintenance on all types of control, measurement and instrumentation equipment * Troubleshooting of process equipment and instrumentation. * Repair of process equipment including meters, valves, transmitters, valve actuators and associated equipment * Calibration of transmitters and valve actuators. * Programming of flow control computers and process control systems on Lacts and rail rack. * Assist Maintenance technicians with other maintenance and repair duties. * Maintain records utilizing internal tracking systems to document all associated work. * Complete daily, weekly, and/or monthly inspections/reports to include, but not limited to, inspection reports, incident reports, and potential hazard/near miss reports. * Communicate with third party contractors when working around the facility. * Must be detailed orientated, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining a safe work environment. * Maintain cleanliness of terminal equipment and work area. * Ensure facility buildings, equipment, and surrounding areas are in safe and clean working conditions, remove and dispose of trash, perform grounds maintenance, and perform repairs as directed. * Identify, report, and correct safety / environmental / regulatory concerns per company policy and procedure. * Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by your Supervisor or Manager. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: This position will be the primary technical resource for all electrical needs and requirements of the mine on the shift assigned. Responsible to keep current with new technologies as they apply to the mining industry. Assist management in teaching, training and qualifying other electrical personnel on the procedures of installing, troubleshooting and repairing various mine electrical systems and related components. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Maintain proper quality standards and cost awareness Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment Observe and inspect electrical work to assist management in their training needs of other electrical technicians.
