Anytime Flooring is seeking a Delivery Driver for immediate hire! Anytime Flooring is a leading flooring and installation provider in the Southeast Region. We have over 10 years of professional flooring experience in both commercial and residential projects. Our experienced professionals are eager to guide and assist clients through numerous product options and insightful design projects.
Job Summary: The Delivery Driver is responsible for verifying, loading, transporting, and unloading materials to various jobsites and customer locations. This role requires strong attention to detail, a positive and helpful mindset, and the ability to problem-solve while maintaining excellent customer service. The position also requires flexibility to travel out of town on short notice when business needs arise.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to)
Verify materials against delivery tickets, purchase orders, and loading documents.
Inspect materials for accuracy, damage, and completeness before loading.
Safely and securely load materials to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
Maintain accurate documentation for all materials loaded and delivered.
Deliver materials to designated jobsites and customer locations in a timely and professional manner.
Unload materials safely using approved equipment and proper lifting techniques.
Follow all jobsite safety protocols and maintain awareness of site conditions.
Communicate with site supervisors or customers upon arrival and completion of each delivery.
Assist with staging materials onsite when required.
Be available for out-of-town travel on short notice, including occasional overnight stays.
Adapt quickly to changing schedules, routes, or delivery demands as needed.
Represent the company with a positive, friendly, and service-focused attitude.
Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Provide updates on delivery progress, delays, or issues encountered.
Identify and address challenges such as missing materials, jobsite access issues, or discrepancies.
Demonstrate strong initiative and resourcefulness when resolving issues.
Maintain consistent reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle at all times.
Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Use appropriate load-securement techniques and safety equipment.
Wear required PPE at all times on job sites.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience with material handling, loading equipment, or construction materials is a plus
Must have a valid Class D driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle report screening.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with other departments.
Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening

Requirements

Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Other Skill Requirements:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. May be required to solve mathematical computations and create miscellaneous drawings and schematics.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit behind the wheel of a vehicle. The employee is occasionally required to embark and disembark the vehicle.
