Applicants should be capable of lifting to fifty pounds without assistance. Primary Job Role Inspects truck and trailer before dispatch. Ensures all equipment meets operating and safety requirements.
Loads, hauls and unloads machines at customer's job sites or at Ring Power facilities.
Keeps up the appearance of the equipment and notifies Dispatcher of any problems.
Maintains current knowledge of all state and federal laws. Maintains compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
Maintains an accurate log book.
Ensures all required documents are available for haul.
Checks for customer abuse of equipment. Notes damages to equipment and informs Dispatcher.
Maintains a good relationship with customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Gator Transport Group is looking for a Class A Heavy Hauler who is dependable, stable, and hardworking. Applicants must have least three (3) years' experience loading heavy construction equipment on a lowboy, flatbeds, and landoll trailers.

Job Responsibilities for The Heavy Haul Transport Driver:
Load/unload heavy equipment on/off trailers: front end loader, long reach excavator, dozer, roller, lull/forklift, off-road dump truck and backhoe.
Drive tractor trailer, dump truck, and/or roll off.
Verify the type of materials being transported and ensure proper weight restrictions.
Perform regular maintenance to ensure the truck is in operable working order.
Must clean the equipment, checking fluids and grease daily.
Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management.
Complete electronic pre/post trip DOT inspection report.
Comply with all DOT safety rules and regulations.
Assist in Mobilizations/Demobilizations as needed.
This position will include miscellaneous labor help on job site.
Must be motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required.
Qualifications for The Class A CDL Low-boy and Flatbed Driver:
Must have least three (3) years' experience loading heavy construction equipment on a lowboy, flatbed, and landoll trailer.
Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
Must have a valid Class A CDL with a clean record.
Current medical card required.

Transportation Services
Provide transportation services to Plymouth Harbor's residents as assigned utilizing its fleet of vehicles in a manner that best benefits the residents of Plymouth Harbor following routine schedules where applicable.
Extend proper courtesy to Plymouth Harbor residents utilizing transportation services including appropriate greetings, opening/closing doors, and assisting in/out of vehicles safely as needed. Timely response to requests.
Assure that assistance is provided to residents in loading/unloading items such as grocery sacks, walkers, etc., as well as assisting residents in and out of vehicles.
Participate in the routine maintenance and cleaning of Plymouth Harbor's fleet of vehicles as assigned.
Assist in at least weekly cleaning (interior and exterior) of all fleet vehicles.
Maintain travel and vehicle maintenance logs as required.
Assist valet as directed by the Lead Driver or Director.
Drive for evening/weekend trips as scheduled.
Participate in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in work and break areas.
Participate in keeping all departmental equipment/supplies in good order.
Keep abreast of current regulations governing the operation of motor vehicles.
Comply with Florida State statutes regarding required continuing education credits.
Work safely complying at all times with Plymouth Harbor safety standards.
Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, and mandatory in-services as approved or required.
Maintain work area, equipment, and supplies in a clean, sanitary, and organized manner. Ensure that work areas are neat and confidential materials are properly stored before leaving area on breaks, end of workday, etc.
