Make proper notations on the manifest or provide credit memos on parts being returned to the locations, wholesalers and drop boxes. Pick up stock purchase orders or buy out purchase orders from vendors on vendor “fill in” purchase orders and bring parts back to the location. Complete check in process when returning to the location to verify parts and paperwork. Turn in paperwork after check-in. Comply with established company policies and procedures. We are looking for a Petroleum driver within a 50-mile radius of Waterloo, IA to deliver petroleum-based products in bulk, transport them via Semi-Truck and Trailer, and unload products at various customer locations. The position has a 4 on 4 off rotating schedule. Responsibilities: Loading Petroleum products at refineries, ethanol plants, and bulk storage facilities. Unloading Petroleum products at numerous customer locations such as gas stations, airports, refineries, and bulk storage facilities. Ability to pump on and off petroleum and ethanol products using a Power Take Off. Dropping, hooking and connecting trailers to semi-truck. This includes manually raising and lowering dolly legs on the trailer with up to 50 pounds of torque resistance. Hooking up hoses and fittings to load and unload these Petroleum products safely and securely. Checking customer tank levels prior to unloading to make sure tanks do not fill past 90% ullage. Properly using vapor recovery hose at all loading and unloading locations. Reaching, pulling and pushing Petroleum hoses weighing up to 50 lbs. Climbing up ladder on trailer to check tank and levels and make sure the load is secured. The maximum weight the ladder can accommodate is 450 pounds with a 200 pound at the top of the trailer. Climbing in and out of Semi-Truck using 3 points of contact. Loading exactly what petroleum products, appropriate quantities, and correct suppliers on all loads per dispatch instructions. General conversations in English with dispatchers, customers, and loaders to accommodate their needs. Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50 lbs.
