The Gurney Van Driver will operate a gurney van equipped to provide nonemergency transport of mobility- impaired individuals to and from hospitals, convalescent facilities, private homes, dialysis units, doctor's offices, rehabilitation centers, etc. in a safe and timely manner. Delivery Drivers are responsible for assisting current crews with local deliveries and/or delivering locally on own. Returns all items/equipment to proper storage area daily. 10. Hands out memos, donation envelopes and notices/policies as needed. 11. Follows prescribed safety rules and procedures. Assists department in its goal to provide a safe work environment by communicating problems and suggestions for safe operation. 12. Attends and participates in all mandatory training sessions and meetings as prescribed by the Supervisor of Drivers and/or administrative personnel. 13.
