Manufacturing company in Arlington, TN is looking for Cobot Loaders to join their team. Employee will load/unload a COBOT welding station. COBOT is a semi-autonomous welding station that welds endplates to I-beams. Employee loads parts into the COBOT welding jig then unloads into a new bundle. Parts weigh between 22-30 lbs. each, and a production quota of 500 parts per 10 hour shift is expected to be achieved.

What You'll Do
Receives verbal and/or written instructions from team leader or mill manager.
Works from rolling schedules and SAP to ensure proper gauge, grade, and slit width of material is processed.
Uses bar code readers to scan consumed coils.
Operates coil cart to load slit coils onto mandrels.
Operates controls for uncoiler, leveler, and butt welder.
Sets up butt welder for each gauge of material and welds coil ends together.
Identifies butt welds, gauge changes, and coil numbers using paint.
Keeps accumulator loaded with sufficient steel to run the mill continuously.
Performs micrometer checks on gauge and records findings.
Assists in mill changeovers as needed.
Completes all operating and quality reports accurately.
Assists maintenance personnel in making equipment repairs.
Supports other operators during breakdowns, bottlenecks, and scheduled downtime.
Reports any irregularities or malfunctions to managers and/or maintenance.
Empties all scrap buckets and keeps work area clean and safe.
Maintains regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule.
Who You Are
At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Completion of military service is considered equivalent to a 2-year degree.
Tube mill manufacturing experience preferred.

6:00am to 2:30pm. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Responsibilities of the Material Handler:
Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
Process inbound and outbound shipments.
Load and unload pallets. Scan items into inventory control system using RF Scanner.
Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.
Required Qualifications of the Material Handler:
Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
Demonstrate good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
