Job Responsibilities:
Some lifting of cases up to 45 lbs. Clear understanding of numbers/letters for labeling, wrapping pallets on occasion
Equipment: Crown Reach Deep, Blue Yonder Scan gun and terminals
Put away of pallets up to 2,000 lbs. from level 1- 6
Standing on machine for up to 7.25 hours a day
Loads and unloads trailers
Labeling product with correct LPN requires bending and reaching
Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
Maintain a clean and safe work areas
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable)
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
Flexible to work overtime preferred
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
