Position Summary:
Accurately processes all customer and replenishment orders in a manner to ensure safety, quality and performance goals are met on a daily basis in our Plastics Department. This position is 3rd Shift with the work schedule Monday through Friday 10:00PM-06:30AM.
Position Responsibilities:
Pull raw material request orders for delivery to specified work centers in production and properly scan in RF device; supply required consumables to production areas and handle disposal of some waste from the production floor, i.e., bad pallets, recyclables, etc.
Return material to the raw warehouse and consolidate into existing bays where possible upon put away and properly scan in RF device
Follow all safety procedures, including safety startup checklists at the beginning of the shift for powered industrial vehicles, notifying the team leader/supervisor of any equipment problems immediately, wearing all required PPE, participating in 6S events, and maintaining good housekeeping and execution of standard work
Report any scrap, damaged product, or quality problems to the team leader/supervisor immediately
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers by willingness to take on additional responsibility and/or support as assigned
Knowledge and Experience:
One to four (1-4) years of experience in a Manufacturing setting
Good communication skills, English fluency, both verbal and written
Must be able to comply with manufacturer's weight limit to wear required safety tether for picking at elevated locations
Demonstrated ability in proper freight handling. Working knowledge of all hazardous shipping rules and regulations
Willingness to work and to follow instructions
Reading ability sufficient to identify labels and understand written documentation

+ Maintain product, packaging and material inventory/availability using demand forecasts, historical orders and software tools in order to support the operations plans and customer demand of the plant.
+ Investigate and identify root causes of any facility safety or security incident or environmental regulation on-compliance in order to prevent reoccurrence of similar incident at same or other facilities.
+ Print daily orders/production plans and distribute to appropriate personnel for picking orders or manufacturing. Perform final quality check/inspection for accuracy and visible damage prior to shipment to customer.
**Position Requirements:**
+ Responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered tools and vehicles.
+ Operate industrial vehicles and equipment.
+ Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area.

We are a major electricity and gas delivery company with one of the largest electricity transmission and distribution systems in the Northeast. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a good driving record and be focused on customer, personal and coworker safety. Pipe Handlers work within the natural gas side of the operation to provide timely and quality service to our customers while maintaining high customer service.
Key Accountabilities
As a Pipe Handler you will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
Perform manual labor, including hand excavation, backfilling, handling of pipe, fittings, and materials and does other laboring work as required.
Operate paving breaker and rock drills and assist in operating tapping and stoppering equipment, heating and joining equipment for plastic pipe, and other equipment so assigned.
Successfully complete training of higher classification duties and obtain proper licenses
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
Must have good mechanical aptitude and ability, high degree of dependability, and capable of exercising good judgment.
Must pass Company physical and qualifying tests.
Must have Massachusetts Drivers License and be in good physical condition.

pay rate: $22.09 per hour

Distribution Center Loader

This position will be responsible for, among other things, stages, shrink wraps and loads products by trip number and store number as it is received from the packing and pulling areas of the stockroom. Prepares palletized loads for shipment by shrink-wrapping product to ensure safe transportation or storage, including safe and proper balancing and placement of products. Additionally, this position assists with safe and proper pallet building and selects products for specific routes.
Responsibilities:
Stages product on pallets, shrink wraps to prevent loss, and loads pallets on trucks
Inspects trailers for suitability before loading
Ensures correct parts are placed on the correct truck - packs the right parts for delivery to the right customers with accuracy and speed, maps out the organization of loading customer orders from skids to trucks
Operates pallet jack or forklift as needed
Maintains the integrity of products through proper handling and storage
Keeps work area clean to avoid potential accidents and to allow for rapid loading
Pulls stock orders until time to load trucks as needed
Assists with processing other DC shuttles
Works in a safe manner following all safety procedures, rules and regulations
Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Experience, Education, and Abilities:
High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience required
Forklift certified preferred
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
Able to speak clearly and listen attentively
Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and aurally) and remembering their sequence
Should have basic computer APGJCe skills
Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 60 lbs.
Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs. using mechanical aids, such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.
Able to bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary
Must be able to get in and out of the back of truck with parts while using a ramp when necessary
Able to stand and walk for entire work shift
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, outside weather conditions of extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
