Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a certified forklift driver with a focus on safety, efficiency, and organization. You will be responsible for loading/unloading trailers, maintaining inventory, and supporting the team to ensure smooth operations in our warehouse. This role includes both routine tasks and occasional two-man delivery support.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts safely to load and unload trailers, straight trucks, and vans.
Log all shipments in and out using software programs such as Sortly, e-Courier, etc.
Stage and print Bill of Lading (BOL) for outbound shipments.
Serve as the point of contact (POC) with clients via phone and email for shipments, inquiries, and updates.
Complete daily inventory, in/out reports, and cycle counts.
Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and professional at all times.
Perform light facility maintenance, including changing light bulbs and reporting other necessary repairs to management.
Handle up to 50 lbs of inventory and supplies as part of daily operations.
Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse supplies, equipment, and tools, including propane for forklift maintenance.
Complete weekly checklists for equipment maintenance and supplies inventory.
Ability to ride with a driver for two-man deliveries as needed.

Retain defense counsel and coverage counsel as necessary and work effectively with them.

Participates in negotiations, conferences and mediations with adjusting companies, outside legal counsel, staff, claimants, brokers, insureds, carrier and other involved parties
Conduct coverage analysis on new and existing matters. Draft coverage opinions in collaboration with Claims Counsel
Establish appropriate loss estimates based on all relevant information and findings and recommend reserves.
Draft and complete claims management status reports or the equivalent to clients on a quarterly basis, or as needed.
Manage and gather data for reporting on monthly Bordereau.
Make timely and accurate file notes and time and expense records as required
Education/Skills/Experience required:
1 or more years of CGL insurance or risk management involving CGL and liability umbrella insurance experience
Ideally background in handling CGL bodily injury and property damages claims, including bodily injury claims under New York Labor Law
Bachelor's degree required. GL adjuster license required. J.D. preferred but not required

The Outlet Material Handler is responsible for a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of the Outlet and Salvage departments. Load clearance product from stores onto outlet tables utilizing tippers and by hand as needed.

Load product from Outlet tables loading into bale machines to create bales for Salvage.
Ensure that tables pulled from the Outlet floor are of trash and commodities prior to baling.

Operate all electrical and manual equipment adhering to established operational procedures and safety guidelines.
Must be able to use material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jack, hand truck, dolly) and operate electrical equipment (i.e. compactor, tipper, down-stroke baler, MAX PAK ); adhering to established operational procedures and safety guidelines.
Responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment is fully operational as outlined in the safety guidelines at the start of each shift prior to use. Communicate any findings to the manager on duty immediately.
Maintains cleanliness/safety of warehouse by keeping aisles and egresses clear of debris and obstruction.
Transport donations dropped off in the Outlet to the production area and sort in compliance with standard operating procedures.
Assist donors with large donations to unload their vehicles and transport to the appropriate cages.
Provide a high level of customer service, engaging all donors quickly and courteously, offering donation receipts, and handling all donated items with care and gratitude.
Follows all established Corporate and regulatory safety and security procedures which include the handling of hazardous materials.
Complete health and safety training as scheduled.
Ensures appropriate housekeeping is completed, including assigned cleaning duties at the end of shift and proper organization.
