Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Material Handler (MRO) will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities.
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safe manner.
Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.
Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
Performs inspections on received material and product; document and refuse delivery if material and product does not meet quality standards.
Maintains inventory management systems to ensure that orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments, as required.
Stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Position Summary
Accurately processes all customer and replenishment orders in a manner to ensure safety, quality and performance goals are met on a daily basis.
Position Responsibilities
Pull raw material request orders for delivery to specified work centers in production and properly scan in RF device; supply required consumables to production areas and handle disposal of some waste from the production floor, i.e., bad pallets, recyclables, etc.
Return material to the raw warehouse and consolidate into existing bays where possible upon put away and properly scan in RF device
Follow all safety procedures, including safety startup checklists at the beginning of the shift for powered industrial vehicles, notifying the team leader/supervisor of any equipment problems immediately, wearing all required PPE, participating in 6S events, and maintaining good housekeeping and execution of standard work
Report any scrap, damaged product, or quality problems to the team leader/supervisor immediately

Knowledge and Experience Required
One to four (1-4) years of experience in a warehouse setting
Good communication skills, English fluency, both verbal and written
Forklift operator authorization required and demonstrated ability in safe equipment operation, including elevated locations (heights)
Must be able to comply with manufacturer's weight limit to wear required safety tether for picking at elevated locations
Demonstrated ability in proper freight handling. Working knowledge of all hazardous shipping rules and regulations
Willingness to work and to follow instructions
Reading ability sufficient to identify labels and understand written documentation

1. Pull raw material request orders for delivery to specified work centers in production and properly scan in RF device; supply required consumables to production areas and handle disposal of some waste from the production floor, i.e. bad pallets, recyclables, etc.
