Job Description:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance applicable to biologics and cell therapy manufacturing.
Experience in:
Distribution, receiving, temperature storage, issuance, and inventory control practices including cycle counting, and rejected/expired material disposition.
Understanding controlled temperature, humidity, and pest control monitoring for cGMP environments.
Transportation lanes and cold chain logistical movement of time critical and temperature sensitive biologics.
Freight forwarder and courier direct shipments and associated documentation requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates internal and external customer requests across multiple unit operations during their shift to include personnel, material, and logistical needs.
Working with production planning, the Sr. Manufacturing Associate, and other shift leads to establish daily unit operations schedule that includes people, product, and material flow across multiple shifts.
Completing and reviewing documentation required by process transfer protocols, validation protocols, standard operating procedures, and batch records.
Assisting in the training of staff who are less experienced to ensure they have the necessary technical skills and knowledge.
Initiation of company discrepancies/deviations for non-conforming materials and operational anomalies.
Assisting in setting up warehouse operations equipment/fixtures. Perform facility and equipment commissioning activities.
Reviewing Warehouse Operations procedures and providing input in ensuring documents are technically sound, promote effective and efficient operations, and comply with cGMP requirements.
Performing tasks in a manner that are consistent with departmental and corporate safety policies, quality systems and GMP requirements.
Coordination of tasks with staff working within Warehouse Operations.
Additional duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $20.48 -$25.55. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation and eligibility for specific benefits will be decided based on demonstrated experience and by your employer of record(and not client).
Sorter - Night Shift (4pm or 4:30pm start time)

THE ROLE OF A RECYCLING LINE SORTER Under close supervision, sorts a wide variety of reusable waste material for recycling in accordance with established standards and procedures, assuring that contaminated or non-recyclable materials are separated from recyclable materials. Great entry level position for a person with the required knowledge, but no required work experience.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Sorts mixed recyclable materials by type and from waste materials in compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
* Identifies and distinguishes recyclables (paper, glass, etc.) from non-recyclables (garbage, etc.). Includes sorting through materials on a conveyor to view and recognize type, and opening bags to inspect contents.
* Empties and/or changes sorted materials containers as needed.
* Maintains a safe work area.
* Per company policies and training, looks out for, reports on, and takes appropriate action regarding any hazardous materials in the waste stream.
* Abides by company policies and procedures and state and local regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS

Loader
The Loader is responsible for ensuring all outgoing orders are accounted for, audited and loaded into the trailer in a safe, secure and accurate manner.
Read work orders to confirm customer information, order numbers, pallet count and wrap outgoing orders.
Load assigned frozen tubs' transportation equipment (e.g. power jack, hand truck)
Load trailer/route ensuring proper weight distribution
Confirm trailer assignment, complete appropriate paperwork, position, dock plate and ensure trailer is clean.
Confirm, customer information, order numbers, pallet count and wrap outgoing orders

Purpose of Position
Our package handlers are our front-line employees and a very important part of GLS. They work diligently to sort and make sure packages are in the correct route, to ensure proper delivery timelines. They work closely as a team to make sure all the behind the scenes work is done safely and successfully, no day is the same. We are looking to expand our team with people that care about safety, quality and work at a fast pace.
Essential Job Functions
Scan and/or sort packages, load and unload trucks. Operate equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks. Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
Characteristics are relatively stable and frequently wet and/or humid. Maybe exposed to fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat and vibrations. The noise level is usually loud and the exposure risk to hazardous environmental conditions are moderate. Listed below are applicable special environmental conditions.
Standing for prolonged periods of time is required.
Regularly works in outside weather conditions.
