Find out more about us: **************** SUMMARY Supplies and removes inventory to and from work cells in order to keep production operators working in an efficient manner. Assists the value stream leader in maintaining an organized and accurate inventory. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Uses ERP system to make inventory transfers. Supplies and stocks parts to production lines in order to keep production workers operating efficiently. Conducts weekly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventories from generated counts, as supplied by logistics manager. Creates new Kanbans under the guidance of the Value Stream Leader. Uses ladders, forklift, hand-truck, and pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist product to and from warehouse racking. Palletize Dampers with the assistance of others in order to pass off to Warehouse to prepare for outside storage. Notifies the Value Stream Leader with potential shortages and other problems that could impact product availability. Assist in training of employees to the Kanban system. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Participates in continuous improvement activities and workspace organization improvement.
