Duties/Responsibilities: The EDC Handler will be paired with a GWFS explosives detection canine and will search for explosives at client location(s). The EDC Handler shall operate canine in accordance with TSA CCSP-K9 program and perform alarm resolution services as needed. The EDC Handler shall liaise with clients, security personnel, law enforcement representatives, and other client partners to properly execute client security plans and procedures. The EDC Handler shall maintain professional, effective verbal and written communication with client and GWFS management. The EDC Handler shall adhere to a customer service focused mission. The EDC Handler shall maintain a professional image and demeanor and possess high quality customer service skills. The EDC Handler shall complete the 4-week, paid canine training course in Summit Point, WV, and successfully complete TSA 3PK9 certification and nationally recognized third-party canine certification. The EDC Handler shall maintain canine proficiency in accordance with GWFS policies and procedures and maintain TSA 3PK9 requirements and third-party certification annual requirements. The EDC Handler shall maintain day-to-day health and welfare of GWFS assigned canine and perform basic canine emergency first-aid, if necessary. The EDC Handler shall properly maintain all GWFS issued equipment and uniforms. The EDC Handler shall participate in GWFS scheduled canine training events. The EDC Handler shall obtain and maintain any state security officer licensing requirements. The position is unarmed and carrying of firearm, in the performance of GWFS assigned work, is prohibited. Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience: Must be a US citizen. Must pass criminal background checks including drug testing. Weekend/Holiday/Evening availability. Preferred Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience: Olfactory detection handler experience. Law Enforcement and/or military background. Standby duty willingness and availability. POSITION TITLE / LOCATION: Material Handler: 2nd Shift LOCATION: Salisbury, MA POSITION REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager POSITION OVERVIEW This position is responsible for assisting machine operators in achieving consistent performance against targets, through ensuring the smooth flow of material and work. Individuals in this role are responsible for maintaining quality and speed performance within the scope of their role, while minimizing scrap, in addition to working to ensure the accuracy of all manufacturing data and/or documentation. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Material Handler 1 * Follows the requirements of the assigned schedule to meet Material Handler demand. * Sets up orders based upon established specifications. * Associates can effectively and safely operate an order picker, electric pallet jack, manual jack and reach truck. * Associate understands how to interpret Raw material labels, storage unit labels. * Associate can perform ZLETP_MULTIPLE/ZPUTAWAY * Stages boxes to assemble orders for production. * Adjust order forms to reflect the status of production orders. * Moves material in and out of stocking locations with scanner. * Completes any required paperwork. Ā· * Perform the cycle counts as required. * Wrapping Pallets for all customers. Collaborate with inventory control and production teams to ensure stock levels are maintained and accurate. Perform inspections on material handling equipment, completing pre-use checks and reporting maintenance issues as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all company policies and regulations, including PPE usage and hazardous material handling guidelines. Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as required. Provide support for shipping, receiving, and production teams as necessary. Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts and suggest ways to optimize material handling processes. Complies with company, quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Must Have: High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year of materials coordinator duties in manufacturing, or material handling experience. Strong command of the English language (speak, read & write) with good communication skills. Experience with computers and computer software programs. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and other systems (i.e. FedEx/IUPS application) Organizational and time management skills.
