ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Unload various types of merchandise from Ozark route trucks and place them in the designated staging areas. Verify what is unloaded by matching the drivers manifest to the merchandise.
Assist in the wrapping, loading, and shipping of outbound merchandise.
Verify the store manifest, scan and inspect appropriate merchandise from a store's return. Separate all return merchandise to the appropriate staging areas after scanning and process exceptions in the correct manner.
Correctly sort and neatly stack all checked-in rebuilt core and rebuilt warranty into the designated areas.
Follow proper procedures for staging, cut-offs, auditing, and preparing product for shipping.

Prepare and/or match up all paperwork needed for RGS merchandise, call truck lines and prepare shipment. Maintain all RGS merchandise is properly packed, weighed, loaded, and shipped to vendors then complete and turn in all paperwork for correct disposition.
Keep all work areas neat and clean.
Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
Team members with experience may be designated as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all documentation is complete. Explain specific job duties and functions to help ensure the success of new team members, as well as to convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.

Make sure all totes are labeled for the correct store and do not exceed 60 lbs.
Maintain DC standards for both accuracy and productivity when picking orders.
Consolidate and pack all stock order merchandise quickly and accurately so the order can be checked in efficiently by the customer.
Itemize all products not shipped in totes on the freight bill as soon as they are received. Make sure all freight bills are dated with the correct route and totaled at the day's end including hazardous material.
Operate handheld computers (RF units) and/or voice picking equipment at WMS DCs.
Check items off of the freight bill as they are loaded, making sure the number and types of items loaded match the freight bill total.
Load trucks quickly and accurately. Tie and secure freight as it is loaded onto the truck.
Keep picking zones supplied with totes as needed, and repair totes as needed.
Start printers as necessary and sort tickets and labels by zone.
Operate equipment for any outbound functions.
Keep the work area neat and clean, dispose of cardboard and trash properly.
Team members with experience may be designated as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all documentation is complete. Education and Experience Required:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution
Previous 1-2 years of warehouse experience required
Valid Driver's License in good standing
TWIC Card Certification

Previous experience operating warehouse equipment and successful completion of a forklift training program
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills & Mathematical skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledgeable in TFI/OSHA Safety Requirements

Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a Forklift Operator to join our Team in the Cantonment, FL area. The forklift operator will be responsible for operating forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve supplies and materials.
Qualification Standards:
High school or equivalent
Preferably one (1) to three (3) years of experience in specified skill
Must pass Turner Qualification written and practical exams
Able to strap load to forks via ratchet strap or similar device
Some job sites may require further NCCER certification
Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
Job site safety requirements (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection,
safety harness with lanyard, etc.)

Functional Requirements:
Moves hand and foot levers to control diesel, electric, or gasoline operating equipment; must have a valid driver's license; interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed; reads and interprets load charts; may be required to manipulate equipment on unleveled working surfaces; may perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines/equipment; and maintains a clean and safe work area.
