Cresco Labs is seeking Material Handlers to join our Supply Chain team. The Material Handler will supply other departments with all the materials required to complete their tasks. We are looking for associates with great attention to detail to maintain an accurate inventory non-cannabis materials. Material handlers will need to work closely with other departments to help ship/receive, supplies and equipment related to the facility operation.
CORE JOB DUTIES
Providing departments with all materials needed at the point of use based on work orders/bills of materials provided.
Follow a first in first out (FIFO) flow of inventory to ensure the shelf-life quality of all perishable stock items
Assist in tracking and reporting inventory levels to avoid shortages
Assist in the receiving of goods as well as stocking shelves and completing daily supply run for all departments
Operates lift trucks to move equipment/supplies through facility and receive goods from freight carriers
Receive and handoff shipments to freight carriers and small package carriers like FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
Communicating shipment issues with department leadership including damaged shipments or any discrepancies with quantities or items during the Receiving process.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Position Summary:

· Material Planner schedules the Pick Reports and issues to the Material Handler to pick the required material by LP (Control
tag).Uses the pick report to locate individual LPs as required to build lot assemblies.
· Communicates regularly with Materials Planner and is able to change priorities in a timely manner as needed
· Communicates discrepancies when LP cannot be found and needs a substitution to complete the lot assembly.
· Uses a handheld scanner to properly transact and move materials from original location to new location within the ERP system.
· Condense boxes, bags and drums of material to maximize rack spaces. Reports new location of LP in the ERP system.
· Keep areas in and around pallet racks organized and free of debris at all times.
· Comply with safety rules and regulations on an everyday basis.
· Work in a safe and efficient manner.
· Fork Truck training is mandatory to operate Forklifts and Picking equipment.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
· Previous material handling experience is desired.
· At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing plant is ideal.
