Be proactive in cleaning and good housekeeping in the warehouse facility when appropriate. Job Title: Material Handler/Water Spider Reports to: Production Supervisor 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime hours required on Saturdays. Summary: Responsible for keeping workstations fully stocked with materials, thus controlling the continuous flow of productivity, assuring that the daily production and on-time-delivery schedules are met. Pay rate $17.00 per hour Position works as part of a team with other co-workers in soiled linen sorting and washroom area. Position is responsible for the sorting of health care type linen into categories and load sizes as designated by management. Operator will rotate from position to position (cart dumping, soiled linen sorting, sling loading) as scheduled by manager or supervisor. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Move soiled linen carts from loading dock area when and as required 2) Move loaded carts of soiled linen into cart dumping position 3) Operate cart dumper whereby soiled linen is evenly distributed on soiled linen belt 4) Sort soiled linen into classifications established by management 5) Make up soiled linen sling loads in sizes and quantities established by management 6) Segregate sorted soiled linen on monorail system as designated by management 7) Keep work area clean and tidy throughout the workday; At end of workday all team members shall be responsible for assisting in the cleanup of work area. 8) Immediately report all hazardous machinery and system conditions to supervisor or manager 9) Understand, practice and abide by all policies and procedures established by the hospital 10) Be flexible in attitude to be reassigned to other departmental positions when and as required by management. 11) All other duties as assigned POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: EDUCATION Minimum of High School education with a diploma and/or GED equivalent. WORKING CONDITIONS Soiled linen coming from various hospital area settings are considered to have some risks due to the contaminated condition of the linen. Employees will be required to wear a protective barrier gown and face mask while in the workplace. Gown and mask will be removed when leaving the restricted soiled linen area. PHYSICAL DEMAND Operators assigned to this area shall have the physical strength to push/pull carts of soiled linen having a weighted capacity of approximately 300-450 pounds. Operator will be required to roll cart (weighing approximately 100 pounds) to a cart wash area for cleaning. Soiled sorting will require that operator regularly lift and open 35-40 pound bags of soiled linen.

REPORTS TO: Matt Bowes MISSION: The Truck Loader is responsible for facilitating and assisting all operations involving loading materials on trucks for delivery. This responsibility includes order fulfillment, load inspection, material counts, inventory control, and general customer service. Safe and efficient forklift operation is essential to the position. Requirements KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures that all delivered orders are loaded on time, accurately, and in full with the appropriate protection against the weather. All orders must be handled with care to eliminate damage to the product. All orders must be tagged and banded appropriately. Millwork items should be shrink-wrapped. Failure to do so will impact the employee's monthly bonus. First loads should be loaded so that trucks can leave by 7am unless otherwise approved by management. All stock and special-order items are to be tagged and in their correct place. Stock should always be stored properly, and material should be kept out of the weather when damage results from not doing so. Overstock and credits should be put away in a timely manner. Trash should be swept up and trash cans emptied. Cull items should be taken out of stock quickly and placed in the auction pile. Inventory discrepancies and shortages should be reported to management immediately. Communicates via phone and radio with management, sales staff, yard staff, drivers, and customers as required to ensure accurate and timely processing of all operations. Notifies the appropriate team members when back orders, delays, damaged products, shipping errors, or picking errors occur to ensure the proper reorders and handling occurs. Adheres to all general and safety guidelines and reports any issues to management immediately. Report any equipment failures and maintenance needs to your manager. Basic Function: Material handling of all inventory, shipments and supplies throughout the distribution area. A quality job of picking, packing and loading customer orders for shipment. Operate required industrial lift truck equipment safely and proficiently. Major Duties: Pick and Pack customer orders maintaining a 99.9% accuracy rate. Load active pick locations at 99.9% accuracy. Proper material handling of cartons and pallets. Perform required tasks on the WM system and RF equipment to process orders, replenish active locations and load trailers. Document packing slips, labels and cartons for customer receiving purposes. Obey all safety rules. Operate required industrial lift truck equipment. Meet all GMP requirements. Other related duties as assigned by Supervisor. Knowledge and Skills Required: High school diploma / GED required Six months of shipping experience preferred Must be able to meet lift license requirements Must be able to work overtime as business conditions dictate Good math skills Clearly legible writing Basic understanding of computer systems Requires light to heavy lifting and carrying of 50+ pounds #LI-KM1 The base pay range for this position is $16.50/hour; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location.
