Responsibilities include: + Responsible for collecting hazardous waste and (R&D) lab waste. + Segregate and process hazardous waste according to hazard class. + Bulk various types of solvents for flammable liquid & non-RCRA liquid drums. + Lab pack hazardous waste. + Perform hazardous waste pick-ups, on-site transportation, waste sampling, waste classification, waste packaging, manifesting, and tracking of waste containers from cradle-to-grave. + Provide support and guidance to hazardous waste generators regarding proper labeling, storage, and management of hazardous waste. + Coordinate pick up of hazardous waste and mixed waste within three (3) business days of receipt of a fully completed Form A and safely transport hazardous waste on-site back to the less than 90-day accumulation area. + Perform hazardous waste sampling activities and prepare paperwork and samples for shipment. + Properly segregate and store hazardous waste by hazard class and compatibility. + Coordinate provision of all containers needed for the storage and disposal of hazardous waste to all hazardous waste generators. + Classify and package hazardous waste and prepare for shipment and disposal offsite. + Prepare a properly executed Uniform Hazardous Waste manifest. + Maintain records related to hazardous waste disposal, including analytical results, waste profiles, manifests, and land ban forms. + Pickup and transport unused, unopened chemicals to the Central Chemical Storage Facility for storage for future use by the owner and maintain accurate inventory of chemicals. + Conduct and document weekly compliance inspections of the hazardous waste storage facilities. + Perform initial inspections for Satellite Accumulation Area Determinations. + Prepare monthly Hazardous Waste generator activity reports including generator name, waste location, organization code, waste storage date, item identification number, waste name and description, and weight. + Maintain 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and applicable US DOT Certification. + Provide support and participate in internal environmental regulatory compliance audits, annual self-assessments, and other audits and inspections. + Provide support for the company recycling and sustainability programs Key Qualifications Level 1: + High School diploma or equivalent and no experience + US Citizenship is required + Valid drivers license + Hold current DOD clearance or ability to apply for and obtain one. + Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access + Hold current DOT Medical Clearance certification to drive DOT rated vehicle or ability to obtaining DOT medical clearance certification. This position participates in all Fulfillment Center activities including stocking, picking, packing, and shipping medical products in compliance with Intermountain Healthcare's governing processes, procedures, outlined training practices, and employee safety practices. This position also participates in maintaining warehouse cleanliness, maintaining equipment, team and individual continuous improvement activities, and education. Stocking: While maintaining inventory integrity, handles and stocks product as directed to the appropriate assigned locations, while maintaining and complying with all written procedures, verbal direction and training as it relates to the stocking process and safety requirements.** **2. Picking Orders: Responsible to follow outlined procedures in picking orders within Fulfillment Center operations. Complies with all written procedures, verbal direction, and training as it relates to the Picking process within the boundaries of the Pick Module.** **3. Shipping: Responsible for the packing, labeling, and loading the appropriate forms of transportation. Complies with all written and verbal direction and training as it related to the shipping process.** **4. Effectively communicates with all members of the team or peers to achieve team goals and Fulfillment Center objectives. Responsible to help maintain a safe and clean work environment, maintain equipment, participate on various teams such as Lean Six Sigma projects, green projects, and do so by following all Corporate and SCO policies, processes, and outlined procedures as they pertain to Fulfillment Center operations.** **5. Uses safe practices at all times; respecting safety equipment, safe handling, lifting, indicated material handling per MSDS, Hazmat, OSHA, and all applicable Intermountain safety requirements.** 6. Caregivers in this role will be trained and assigned to work in two functional areas of warehouse operations. We expect caregivers to flex between these two functional areas as business needs and volumes flex. Some Positions May Require the Following: Orders and delivers supplies for assigned department, facility, or clinical program using appropriate technology, systems, and suppliers. Processes all applicable documents (e.g., freight bill, bill of lading, packing slips, other documents relevant to receiving or shipping) according to Intermountain policy and procedure to ensure prompt and correct computer input and filing. Communicates information concerning supply levels, new products, standardization, and implementation to the relevant department staff. Troubleshoots issues for problem resolution. Assists with and oversees inventory management processes (e.g., cycle counting, PDA Relief inventory process) for assigned areas.
