Job Summary
The Material Handler - Paint Line preps parts to be painted and performs quality inspections and rework after painting is complete.
What You'll Do
1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.
2. Hang parts to be painted on paint racks. Prep parts as needed before they go into the paint booth.
3. Inspect parts after painting and rework as necessary.
4. Remove materials from paint line racks and move them to designated areas throughout the manufacturing facility.
5. Mark materials with identifying information.
6. Drive forklift or other material handling vehicles when necessary.
7. Support 5S/workplace organization goals of the department and offer suggestions and makes improvements that achieve the department's performance board metrics.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or general education degree.
- Less than one-year related experience and/or training.
- Successful completion of Vermeer forklift certification as required for the work location.
- Effectively present information verbally and written and respond to questions from groups of managers and suppliers.

Staples end tags onto lumber with a pneumatic staple gun. Moves lumber charges into cylinder to be treated by using appropriate mechanisms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Confirm the proper tags are pulled for each charge and verify with a scan gun.
Attach end tags to product with hand-held industrial pneumatic staple gun.
Work the controls of the tram, moving the product in and out of the treating cylinders.
Keep work area and tag shed clean and free of clutter and debris.
Qualifications:
Must have good mathematical skills.
High School diploma or GED
Be willing and able to work in all types of weather environments (cold, hot, rain)
Must have an excellent attendance record
Be able to communicate effectively (have clear command of the English language).
Be willing to learn and have the ambition to advance when opportunity arises.
Be able to stand, bend, stoop and reach for an extended period of time.
Be a team player.
Be flexible (Be willing and available to work overtime as needed).
Be able to follow directions and understand when to ask questions.
Must be able to identify problems and communicate issues effectively.
Have the ability learn the different lumber sizes, grades, and treatments.
Must have the ability to learn how to identify the correct end tags required to pull for the production run.
Be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.

Job DescriptionMaterial Handler Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Material Handler for a company based in Groveland, FL area. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for an array of duties, such as ensuring the organic materials flow through the shakers, perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, shoveling stacking bags. This is a seasonal position.
Pay Rate
$17 00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6 00 am to 6 30 pm.
Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities
• Scrapping, sweeping, and shoveling mulch and dirt
• Stacking bags.
• Place packaged items in the correct area.
• Scan items or manually update inventory system.
• Follow workplace safety standards, participate in plant cleanliness by restacking, picking up trash and debris,
Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Background required.
• Groundkeeper/ Construction experience a plus.
• Ability to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/rainy weather able to stand for a long period of time, able to lift 50lbs.
