Primary Responsibilities & Duties: Perform various job duties including handling, inspecting, and managing hazardous waste and storage in accordance with site emergency plans. Prepare and maintain hazardous waste records such as manifests and inspection logs. Read customer orders and assemble stock from storage areas for delivery. Complete necessary company paperwork including logs and bills of lading. Place placards on trucks and ensure proper marking of materials. Drive trucks to deliver materials to customers and retrieve empty containers. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed. Receive incoming stock, unload, and distribute to appropriate storage areas. Organize and maintain the warehouse storage areas. Repack bulk materials and maintain chlorine containers. Clean and organize the warehouse facility. Ensure all shipments comply with DOT regulations and customer requirements. Perform pre and post trip inspections of equipment. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely. Utilize company-provided equipment and software in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for receiving, issuing, and physically moving material in an accurate and efficient manner. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. The job requires safety glasses, hearing protection, and metatarsal safety shoes be worn at all times. An MH1 (picker) works with the Team Lead and/or Warehouse MC to get a production order to be picked. The picker will use a scanner and forklift to get this done. The delivery # will be entered into a scanner, and that will tell the picker, where to pick from and how many to pick. This process will be repeated until the delivery is fulfilled. The use of a forklift (reach truck) will be required. There will be parts of various sizes and weights that will make up a kit. The kits need to be orderly and packed in a safe manner and according to the expectation, then placed in the buffer until productions calls for it. Start the process over.
