The Sourcing Associate, Chemicals & Packaging, will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Manager, Chemicals & Packaging, Strategic Sourcing Group in all aspects associated with Ingredion's global category spend within the direct chemical and packaging to a value of ~$425MM, by providing input across categories, suppliers, and sourcing events as needed. This role will require a candidate with the ability to work closely, yet remotely with regional procurement teams regarding the utilization of strategies and techniques within the operating environment.

As a Sourcing Associate, on the direction of the Category Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering on a five-year category strategy, and execution of sourcing events to reduce cost, protect operating supply, and improve service and quality levels. Developing, executing, and evaluating competitive bids, including providing recommendations to business partners based on operational best practices Guiding the business through a part of the sourcing process, and providing insights, advice, and resources (e.g., tools and processes) Supporting the business in performing performance, risk, and relationship reviews at the supplier level Building partnerships with front-line business stakeholders Drive adherence in use of the company's procurement technology platforms such as SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and PowerSteering. Performs sterile packaging and prepares packaging and labeling for finished products, in keeping with regulatory and company guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

* Load and unload valves into/from equipment, operate equipment, perform labeling & packaging in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs.
* Perform line clearance, including verifying all valve serial numbers are as listed on the work order being executed, issuing of components in JDE, recording of traceable information on device history records, and signing off on work orders.
* Perform tools cleaning/sanitization and packing of components/parts prior to sterilization process.
* Monitor inventory levels and prevent out of stock situations
* Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping, deliver micro samples


Education and Experience:

Other: 2 Years years experience previous related experience in GMP, clean room, medical device experience Required or
Secondary Education Preferred


Additional Skills:

* Good understanding of manufacturing procedures
