    We are seeking Machine Operator applicants on 2nd shift (1 Opening) in our Akron, OH facility. The salary range is $20.62 - $26.18 per hour + shift differential. Responsibilities: Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste. Setup, operation, feeding of machinery and stacking of boxes. Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures. Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards. Other duties as assigned. May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours. Basic Qualifications: 3 yrs previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment. High School Graduate or GED. Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check. Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must be able to work the 2nd shift Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred. Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel. Responsible for leading machine crew with set-up and change overs. Problem solving skills required to resolve problems with the machine. May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours. Other duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or equivalent. Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Demonstrated longevity of at least eight months in previous employment Must be able to work 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
