    RESPONSIBILITIES: Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity, decreasing downtime, and limiting waste. Assume active role in all plant and facilities related work. Assist all jobs on the plant floor. Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures. Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards. Conduct quality checks to ensure boxes have required dimensions and zero material defects. Responsible for leading machine crew with set-up and change overs. Problem solving skills required to resolve problems with the machine. May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours. Other duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or equivalent. Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Demonstrated longevity of at least eight months in previous employment Must be able to work 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment. Demonstrated longevity of at least eight months in previous employment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.     Title: Wet End Operator Reports to: Shift Supervisor or Superintendent Summary: Responsible for all activities associated with running the single-facer and assisting in wet-end and dry-end operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations. Roles and Responsibilities Operate the single-facers to produce the highest level of production and quality. Check wet end line-ups to verify correct roll stock is received and used. Put rolls of paper in mill roll stands ensuring proper size and grade of paper to be run and make splices and paper changes as necessary. Trim only the necessary amount of paper from the rolls when preparing for splices. Remove roll stock from the machine when necessary and mark the proper size, grade, diameter and lineal footage on the roll and place core plugs in each end of the butt rolls. Continuously monitor the board during runs to ensure quality and make adjustments as necessary. Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Clean starch pan, glue roll and singlefacer area after changing flutes and at the end of the production week. Take all paper off of cores of stub rolls. Assist in the wet end training and dry end personnel. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Additional duties may be assigned by management. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED.     Summary (This is for our Cleveland location): As Warehouse Operator you are responsible for all phases of assembling materials for customer orders, receiving new and returned product, and maintaining safety and quality standards within the warehouse. How you will impact Packaging Solutions, a Smurfit WestRock company: * Moving controls, devices, and levers to drive forklifts; transfer materials, unloading, processing, loading and storage areas. * Move outgoing product using hand truck, forklift, or other material handling equipment, in accordance with all safety policies, to loading dock. * Receive, sort and place incoming product in appropriate warehouse location. * Document and record any customer return as required. * Record amounts of material shipped or received in Victory computer system. * Mark materials and product with Victory inventory codes. * Notify Supervisor, General Manager or Office Manager of any product, safety, or customer concerns. * Assist with general counting of inventory. * Open all containers, crates or bales as required to sort and maintain stock. * Always organize warehouse for cleanliness and safety. * Sweep, mop and perform other routine maintenance. * Maintain all safety standards, including wearing protective clothing and eyewear as required. * Maintain all quality indicators for operations by verifying product quantity/quality before delivery. * Keep warehouse accessible and safe for branch staff and visitors. * Coordinate of last minute or unscheduled deliveries will be necessary. * Other duties as assigned.
