The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for warehousing, inventory control, and shipping of finished goods. The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for managing activities on the assigned shift in an efficient and safe manner. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Direct all activities associated with outbound shipments ensuring the timely shipment of scheduled customer orders, planning truck/rail car loading schedules, and providing order shipment status updates.

Analyze shipping department performance, identify opportunities, make recommendations for process and equipment improvement, establish goals and execute strategy.
Investigate customer complaints concerning damaged product that may have been caused by shipping or transit damage.
Participate in production meeting and provide updates as needed.
Manage on-hand inventory and month end inventory.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma required.
4+ years' experience working in a shipping department.
Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Some college or manufacturing training.
Previous experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment.
Previous supervisory experience with training, teambuilding, performance development, and conflict resolution.

Position Overview
Employee is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment. The Maintenance electrician must have excellent mechanical and electrical skills and be able to troubleshoot PLC-controlled printing and packaging equipment utilizing a laptop computer.
A minimum of three to five years of experience is needed in the maintenance field, with manufacturing experience preferred. Our maintenance electrician is a team player with good communication skills and able to interact with all areas of the facility in a team environment, and committed to excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Use the computer to check the status of jobs/electrical repairs that need to be completed.
* Inspect and test electrical malfunctions, using testing instruments, manuals, guides, and blueprints, etc.
* Repair or perform preventative maintenance of equipment and electrical circuits.
* Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs.
* Fabricate and weld brackets, etc.
* Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, using hand tools and test equipment. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components for high voltage and low voltage.
* Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables using hand tools.
* Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
* Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
* Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
* Install conduit and other wiring.
* Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

What is PCA's POE Program?

Position Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement training programs and all training materials.
Will be the primary resource for all training programs for every hourly position and responsible for updating all team members' qualifications once the training program is fully implemented.
Assess training effectiveness to ensure the programs are meeting the needs of the employees and organization, while making necessary adjustments as needed.
Maintain training records within the PTVE Learning Management System, including attendance, performance, and completion of certification programs.
Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards as applicable.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the training programs align with specific business needs.
Continuous improvement of training programs, specifically by staying up to date with industry best practices and seeking feedback from employees and leadership.
Coordinate and align appropriate trainers with trainees.
Support coordination of new hire orientation and facilitate as required.
Prepare trainee packet for distribution, inclusive of training plan.
Monitor training performance to schedule and maintain, including skills development program.
Assist with the timely completion of reviews/ assessments.
Maintain training schedule.
Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and maintain the trainer qualification program.
Review and update SOPs and training documents as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree preferred (business, engineering)
2+ years of manufacturing experience
Supervisory experience preferred
Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work well in group situations
Ability to deal effectively with conflict in a mature & consistent manner
Good computer skills
SAP experience preferred

All Maintenance Technician positions are multicraft and training is provided to develop these skills.

2+ Years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
The production schedule is 3 shifts. Maintenance Technicians are placed on shifts according to plant needs and seniority. Opportunities to change shifts are available when organization changes occur or production schedules change.
Be Authorized to work in the US.
Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
