Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitors finished product to ensure it is meeting customer specifications (Weights, Dimensions, etc).
• Identifies and disposes of product that is out of specification.
• Gathers and records product specifications on appropriate paperwork and/or inputs specifications in computer.
• Ensures tools, equipment and work area is in a clean sanitary condition.
• Maintains a safe work environment while producing a safe quality product.

Summary: Responsible for wrapping and packaging rolls of commercial wallcovering and assisting with other duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Read and understand production documentation, shipping and labeling documents.
- Wrap rolls of wallcovering using correct packaging materials.
- Label rolls accurately using legible handwriting, or printed labels.
- Transfer rolls to pallets avoiding damage to rolls.
- Keep packaging area clean and safe.
- Prepare pallets for freight.
- Prepare pallets for shipping using correct materials: banding, stretch wrap, cardboard, etc
- Other duties as assigned.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reading and writing skills.
- Ability to pass basic math test.
- Ability to grip, lift, manipulate and carry up to 50 lbs

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is under the direct supervision of the Shift Lead. As a Packer you are responsible for the packing and testing of pouches. The Packer must work closely with the Machine Operator, Quality Control Team and Customer Service Team to assure that all production objectives are efficiency achieved.
