**Your role at Clorox:**
The Technical Process Operator (TPO) is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the production of plastic trash bags and food storage wrap. TPOs are assigned to one of four departments based on business needs:
1) Conversion - operate bag making and packaging equipment
2) Extrusion - operate film making, tape slitting, and reclaim production equipment
3) Food - operate extrusion, forming, winding, and packaging equipment
4) Logistics - operate fork trucks, palletizers, robots, and trash compacting equipment
**In this role, you will:**
All new employees are hired for night shift (6P - 6A) and work a 2-2-3 schedule including holidays and weekends as required.
Starting pay rate is $22.60/hour plus $1.25/hour night shift premium.
Essential Functions
TPOs must be able to perform the following essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
+ Operate and maintain equipment and processes according to specifications and standard operating procedures
+ Keep raw materials, commodities, cartons, cases, and glue stocked during production periods
+ Process scrap materials according to procedures
+ Perform routine and unique mechanical and maintenance tasks in accordance with training level

Accountabilities

Preparation of Raw Materials: Certain Raw Materials require further preparation before they can be used in blending operations. Examples are CWW, CSW and SSS. Operator must demonstrate competence in delivery of in specification cut raw materials to further processing.
Blending of Raw Materials: Compounding Operations includes understanding and demonstrating competence in material transfer, measurement and blending/agitation requirements.
Transfer of Materials: Operator is responsible for accurate transfer of materials (raw, in process and finished) throughout Bulk Processing. Operator is accountable for verifying all connections prior to, during and after all transfers to ensure correct destination is reached without product loss.
Measurement of Materials: Operator is responsible for accurate measurement of materials (raw, in process and finished), using tape gauges, level sensors, load cells and flow meters.

Must follow all safety protocols
Perform routine housekeeping tasks and safety checks.
Interprets work orders, paying close attention to all details to ensure product is completed correctly with the highest standard of accuracy and quality and reflects artwork.
Use proper tools/supplies for each task to ensure safe working conditions and good quality product. Reports items that need to be replaced
Contribute to quality control by inspecting materials and finished products. Interpret SOPs and only pass good product. Understand what product can be reworked/corrected and what has to be scrapped.
Prepares and organizes for production confirming that all order requirements are met.
Inspects and prepares all finished product for shipping (QC, Trim, Package)
Able to demonstrate competencies for various machinery / techniques for next level.
Understand/communicate PASS v FAIL cap (loose threads, crooked art, etc and bad caps)
Ability to Read PO to match art, cap style, cap color, cap size, cap dim, special instructions, packing instructions
Adhere to safety protocols for assigned equipment and all production areas (ex. Turning off heat guns at break)

As a Grade 2 Machine Operator at Outdoor Cap and JUNK, you will be responsible for operating embroidery machines to decorate various products. You will follow detailed instructions to ensure efficient and high-quality production. Grade 2 Machine Operator can increase earning potential by gaining skills from Step 1 to Step 5 and/or advancing to Grade 4 Production Assistant.

Your tasks may include assisting with materials handling, organization, and coordinating production activities.
