Remove defects as needed (i.e., deformed, discolored, misshaped, etc.). Assist Senior Operators . Management of bulk product from clean room to the packaging area, sorting/stacking/cleaning trays to be returned to clean room as needed. Visual sorting and DE clumping of bulk product prior to packaging process. Supplying hoppers with bottles, caps and other raw materials as needed. Supply bottle conveyor for metal detection, capping, and induction sealing. Identify, retrieve, and inspect pallets, apply case labels as needed. Break down of excess corrugate for bailing. Proper communications protocol with all manufacturing, quality, and other operations staff to communicate and escalate product or equipment issues as needed. Assist in line clearance, cleaning and sanitization procedures as needed. Use basic hand tools. Required to work in a clean room environment. PACKER - INSPECTOR Experience not necessary; training provided! Location: Sterling, MA In a Nutshell: Laddawn has manufacturing facilities located from coast to coast, which allows us to rapidly ship to our customers no matter where they are located. You'll help us inspect and package finished product that wows our customers. What you'll be doing: · Packaging bags\/rolls into boxes, weighing the boxes, and keeping accurate counts in the computer system. · Performing quality control checks on product and ensuring that all products are properly labeled with a Q.C. sticker before stacking finished product. · Keeping the work area clean and clutter free: picking up scrap materials around the production lines and cutting scrap off cores. · Alerting Setup Technicians or Changeover Technicians using the light system to keep them informed of production status. Scheduling Production workers are scheduled 12 hours per day, 4 days per week, and work every other weekend. Day shift is scheduled from 8am\-8pm. Night shift is scheduled from 8pm\-8am.
