Run and maintain production equipment such as sleevers, case packers, de-palletizers, wrappers and other related equipment within the Dairy Plant. (S)he contributes to overall department production goals and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Essential Duties:
* Closely monitor the dairy production process and adjust equipment as necessary
* Monitor weights, seals, caps, and other general packaging items in the process
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
* Reassemble equipment after maintenance, clean up, and changeovers
* Ensure concentrations are taken with each CIP, monitoring flow & temperature
* Perform preventative maintenance, line changeovers, and environmental cleanup
* Closely monitor the palletizing process
* Program new pallet patterns as new business arises.
* Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area
* Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
* Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs

Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:

Perform label alignment checks and inspect for air bubbles, wrinkles, or misprints
Maintain accurate label counts and lot tracking
Coordinate with QA to verify label accuracy and placement

Load pouches or bags into the packaging machine
Monitor product fill, seal strength, and alignment
Inspect pouches for damage, weight accuracy, and seal integrity
Organize filled pouches into cartons for final packaging
Carton/Box Packout
Inspect final packaged product for accuracy and presentation
Pack finished containers into cartons according to specifications
Apply lot numbers, barcodes, and tamper-evident seals where required
Stack and prepare cartons on pallets for shipment
✅ What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED (required)
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical packaging environment (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Capable of lifting 30-50 lbs. and working on your feet in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in a GMP/cGMP-regulated facility is a major plus
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable using simple digital interfaces, barcode scanners, and measurement tools

Job Title: Packaging Associate
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4 10-hour shifts (6:30am-5:00pm), Occasional overtime on Fridays
Compensation: Starting at $16.00/hour
Flow Distribution is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Associates to join our Manufacturing and Packaging team for an immediate start. The ideal candidate is reliable, quality-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for accurately packaging cannabis products in compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and Arizona state cannabis laws. Active Arizona Facility Agent card preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
Packaging and manufacturing responsibilities including, but not limited to, counting, sorting, labeling, sealing, boxing, and taping products according to SOPs.
Meet or exceed personal and team production goals set by management.
Perform visual quality control checks to ensure product and packaging meet standards.
Communicate immediately with the Production Manager if any product concerns or discrepancies arise.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace before, during, and after each shift.
Operate all machinery and packaging equipment according to company safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
Stage workstations for the next shift by preparing necessary materials and equipment.
Follow all company and Arizona state compliance standards and regulations.
Maintain confidentiality and handle inventory responsibly.
Participate in routine cleaning, maintenance, and organization of tools and equipment.
Support other departments as needed to meet production deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or supervisor.
