• Adheres to the production schedule and provides overtime and weekend support when needed.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
* Housekeeping of machine area.
* Verify bulk quantity and accuracy prior to start.

* Daily feedback to Production Supervisor on Packers and any other issues.
* Operators responsible for upkeep and maintenance of their own machines. MACHINES TURNED OFF WHEN NOT IN USE.
* Bulk pallets are moved behind the production line back to inventory once complete.
* Ensure only current production run's case labels are present. All other labels are removed from the area.
ACTIVITES:
Adhere to your assigned production line to avoid cross contamination of product.
Completes logs Run Start Log and Machine Pre-op Checklist daily.
Use OS to know the day's plan.
Verify bulk product staged is enough before starting the machine.
Make sure the machine area is clean all the time and tools are stored properly.
Make sure bag labels are corrected and straight.
Send picture of bag label to "Model Bag" text group.
Make sure case labels are applies immediately and have correct information.
Before end of shift make all cases are sealed and labeled.
Make sure the machine and area is clean at the end of shift.
If run is complete place white cone on bulk pallet so inventory associate can return to inventory.
If run is not complete leave bulk pallet in place.
Submit completed Run Start Log and Machine Pre-Op checklist to the QA Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Will be required to perform tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds, walking, standing, climbing, reaching, stooping, pulling, pushing, grasping, and balancing as part of production activities out on the floor.
Will be required to see and hear well enough to understand Associates questions and respond to their concerns.
Will be required to work in freezers, near noisy machinery, near confined spaces as part of daily production activities.
Food Safety Responsibilities:
Follow all GMP's, food safety, and quality policies.
Report all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen, or magnet deficiencies, glass breakage, and pest harborage.
Monitor product quality and food safety throughout all stages of production, recording such results as required, and reporting deficiencies to Supervision.
Record accurate and legible results on documentation
Provide adequate housekeeping at all times.

Job Mission:
A machine operators' primary duties will be to operate machinery at allotted worked site. As an operator your key role is to remain in your equipment and clear paved surfaces. As this role is part-time, it offers the benefit of flexibility to your schedule. Experience in snow removal is a plus! Although this is a part-time position, there is plenty of room for growth. As the company expands, we are always going to have different position openings in different areas within New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. We encourage all team members on site to work together to efficiently complete scope of work at assigned site.

Position Responsibilities:
Operation of heavy equipment (wheel loaders, skid steers, toolcats, etc.)
Clear snow from (roadways, parking lots, loading docks, driveways, etc.)
Utilize equipment in a safe manner
Read and understand snow maps
Assist snow removal team in loading and unloading materials and supplies
Ability to refuel and perform basic inspection of your assigned equipment
Professionally communicate and work with on-site management and other team members
Return equipment and safety gear to its designed area when finished
Report any accidents, incidents, and equipment failures to the supervisor immediately
May be required to work long shifts (either days or nights) during precipitation events and snowstorms
May be required to be available for emergency response as needed for overtime at night evenings, weekends, and holidays
Effectively communicate with office team confirming scheduling availability
Be available and arrive on time when scheduled
Qualifications:
2-3 years' experience operating wheel loaders, skid steers, tool cats or similar machinery
General knowledge of storms and efficient snow cleanup
Experience in removing and changing attachments on machinery efficiently (brooms, brushes, pushers, containment plows, buckets and/or cage plows)
Must have own transportation to and from the job site
Understand and be familiar with equipment operation
Available to work a flexible schedule from November to April
Available to work long hours to complete full snow removal and cleanup
Available to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed
Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
Strong communication skills to confirm availability for events
Ability to adapt in fast changing environment

About the role
The Production Operator is involved with the successful daily operation of the facility on a 7-day a week rotating shift basis. This requires attention to detail, good record keeping and the safe and efficient operation of equipment. This position is responsible for production and deliveries of refined vegetable oil, managing and adhering to the site's production and shipping schedule. This position is also responsible for sanitation, inspection, lubrication and basic repairs of assigned production equipment.
Responsibilities
After training you will be expected to have the ability to operate all stations within the production department including: - Deodorization, Hydrogenation, Intresterification, Bleaching, Blending and the loading and offloading of tank wagons and railcars, completing all required documentation and oil analysis.
Production and sanitation quotas dictated by the production schedule, the shipping schedule, operator routines, and the Shift Leader are expected to be met consistently while ensuring compliance to all safety and quality requirements
Perform cleaning, inspection, lubrication and basic repair activities of assigned production equipment on a routine basis
Perform housekeeping support to refinery and roads and grounds
Actively and enthusiastically participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the site.
Must complete all training requested of you.
Assist other refinery operators in tasks requiring additional manpower.
Assist maintenance employees with their tasks as able and as requested.
Use the forklift and other company tools and equipment in proper and safe method.
Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor on issues and problems that may occur.
Leave your worksite in the best condition possible anticipating a busy day.
Use the computerized work order system and put in work orders for the shift supervisor to evaluate.
Participate in company activities such as; Safety Committee, Audit committees, employee task forces, etc. Contribute to the effort in controlling costs and minimizing wastage in pursuit of your daily work.
Support goal of minimum part sparing consistent with production goals and local vendor support services.
Safety & Environmental Performance
Lead the safety effort by personal example.
Support full department compliance with safety rules to further our goal of 0 accidents and encouragement of reporting near misses.
Support 0 contractor accidents during major construction or anytime maintenance contractors are on site.
Identify high-risk safety/ productivity issues and help remedy them.
Adhere to SOPs and other work procedures as required.
