Role accountabilities, expectations and responsibilities:
Loads or unloads materials predominately palleted products from incoming/outgoing transport vehicles.
Checks to ensure product and documentation is correct and aligned and labeled correctly inline with IPS procedures.
Detects and reports quality, damaged loads, leaking materials and other unsafe conditions or situations and escalates up through the Logistics Lead.
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, orders, or other records.
Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to appropriate storage media.
Uses lifting equipment and forklift trucks in line with his/hers accreditations
Follow the agreed Goods In/Out work plans are adhered to with deviations escalated to Management.
Operates a variety of tools (i.e. pallet strapper and tape guns, pallet trolley, staple guns and Cardboard baler).
Support departmental inventory check of components, materials, and finished goods
Ensure a high level of adherence to the daily delivery plan utilising associated business systems including Pick slip management/E1 to manage resource and team to ensure the plan is met, ensuring a recovery plan is in place to protect customer delivery. Escalates to Supervisor/Manager if plan is at risk of not being met.
Completes, monitors and drives all key KPI performance (OTD >95%) within the department utilising all available resource and business tools.
Carries out training and mentoring of staff within the department ensuring role specific training is in place to support the department.
Complete daily H&S assessments are conducted with observations/actions reported.
Ensure daily 5S audits are conducted with observations/actions completed.
