Essential Functions
Responsible for overall maintaining of a production line, including starting and stopping of all equipment (palletizers, carton makers, carton sealers, drop packers, injection, etc.) as applicable.

Raw materials: keep bottle caps, labels, cartons, trays, tray and pallet wraps (plastic rolls), pallet glue for hot melt tanks, slip sheets, etc. in adequate amounts to ensure continuous smooth running of equipment and operation.
Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards; accurately filling out hourly inspection sheets based on overall production quality. Responsible for recognizing and reporting all quality defects immediately.
Ability to work in multiple areas of production with minimal supervision; perform relief duties when required
Ability to troubleshoot minor production equipment issues in all areas and collaborate with maintenance team as necessary.
Understanding of computer systems such as Oracle/MES or current order management system
Comprehension of line flow and manufacturing process to maximize through put
Ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

The PackagingOperator I is responsible for executing all production activity in the packaging area including operation of an automated keg washer/filler, operation of automated equipment related to bottle filling, necessary preparations for bottling, work-in-process product testing, CIP of all related equipment, and cleaning and housekeeping of all areas of the facility. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Packaging of beer, including bottling, canning and kegging
Operating automated keg cleaning and filling equipment
Manual keg filling when necessary
Assisting in the operation of automated equipment related to bottling

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities:
Set up machines for production
Feed the machine with the appropriate powder
Verify proper release of capsules
Monitor weight variations and recover powder from vacuum systems
Supply raw materials (powder and capsules) as needed
Complete batch records accurately and on time
Keep the work area clean and in compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Attention to detail and basic math skills
Previous experience in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical manufacturing (preferred)
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and move drums weighing 50 to 100 kg with assistance
Able to use ladders when necessary
