This includes but is not limited to machine setups, troubleshooting, changeovers, proper running, procedural adjustments, sanitation cleanup, preventative maintenance, and shutdown. * Properly plans ahead for machine changeovers and efficiently changing from one product item to another. * Monitors and adjusts each machine to ensure proper cut off film and bags have proper end seals and back seals as required. * Ensures machines are running at standard speeds. * Monitors product appearance and adheres to weight control program. * Able to run bagger, scales, counting conveyor, seal checker, weight check, case packers, and other auxiliary equipment as needed. * Performs bag weight checks every 20 minutes and inspects for quality issues. * Break person on metal checks. * Performs metal checks and assists in changeovers. * Identifies and resolves packaged product quality issues. * Properly accounts for product run off and handles this product; accordingly, sorts through and reworks all good product * Keeps machines and work areas clean, wipes packaging machines off and blows down area when required to do so. * Immediately reports any maintenance problems to appropriate technician and/or supervisor. * Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection. * Stores supplies in designated areas. * Fills in for coordinator when on vacation. * Keeps work area aisles/exits clear and free from obstruction; removes trash from work area floor. * Follows instructions for safe lifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports issues with equipment; reports all job-related injuries to supervision. * May provide leadership and direction to packers. * May be qualified to perform as Back-up Packaging Coordinator, or other technical/skilled position. * If applicable, may monitor and replenish seasoning on overhead to ensure proper seasoning coverage on product. * Mandatory overtime may be required. * May perform other duties as required. Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions) Proper setup and operation of filling, solid dose manufacturing, packaging and labeling equipment Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed Assist in monitoring and managing processing equipment supplies and inventory Execute all filling and packaging procedures in an efficient manner in compliance with PharmaCann SOP's and all applicable manufacturing procedures Perform in-process and post-process sample acquisitions according to protocols or batch records Support new product lines and process development as needed Be willing and able to be cross-trained to work alongside other PharmaCann team members with manufacturing, harvesting, drying and weighing of PharmaCann's broad medical cannabis product line as needed Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures Train future new team members as necessary Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives Qualifications Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years of applicable experience in filling, manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product quality Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum Age: State law requires that applicants be 21 years old and over Competencies/Additional Requirements include: Attention to detail Team player Effective communication skills Strong work ethic Willingness to learn and improve each operation Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time (i.e: operating filling and or packing equipment) Working conditions Availability to work a four-day work week (10 hours a day) and occasional weekends and holidays, if needed Physical requirements Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments to process equipment Direct reports N/A Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Job Description Step into a day on our blow-molding line At KIK Consumer Products, you'll help keep households and pools clean and safe by ensuring our plastic bottles are packed with care and precision. Picture your day at our Mars, PA plant: the line starts at 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, and you're the steady hand that keeps product flowing until 3:40 PM. This full-time role pays $19/hr. What your day looks like You begin by staging materials and confirming the bagger and conveyors are ready. As bottles come off the blow-molding equipment, you examine them for holes, surface lines, water spots, or other flaws. Approved bottles are packed into grouped boxes you assemble and secure with twine. You keep the conveyors clear to prevent jams, call out for additional raw materials when needed, and log production counts for the shift. You label finished goods with accurate dates, shift identifiers, and required color codes, and you support routine inventory checks and simple recordkeeping. If the line hiccups, you notify your supervisor and help get things moving again-safely and quickly. Core responsibilities Inspect plastic bottles and pack only those that meet quality standards. Assemble cartons, bundle and secure boxes with twine, and move corrugated bulk containers filled with bottles. Monitor automated equipment and conveyors to avoid jams; operate the bagger as needed. Report defects and equipment issues immediately and support smooth changeovers. Accurately label boxes/bags with date, shift ID, and color code; track bottle counts each shift. Assist with inventory activities and routine documentation. What you bring High school diploma or GED. Comfort working in a fast-moving, constantly changing production environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Commitment to safe work practices. Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing setting (exposure to bleach and ammonia).
