Will operate ( brake press, benders, saws, belt sanders, CNC milling centers, and a shear ) in order to fill job orders. Will deburr, blow out all parts, stack and band all finished parts. Will operate and maintain set ups on special purpose machines where operations may involve several progressive machining sequences, and will give instructions on operating procedures. Requires complete knowledge of machine shop operations as acquired by on-the-job training and experience. Operation responsibility includes but are not limited to verifying blueprints, 1st piece inspections, proper measurements, safety of equipment operator is using, accurate count of parts and proper documentation on job orders. The work is repetitive and subject to processes inspection. Position Duties: Reads job order and blueprint specifications. Set up machinery for jobs to run efficiently with all parts checked to blueprint and job order. Operate machinery efficiently while maintaining 1st piece inspection on all parts, all 1st piece inspections are checked to the job order and blueprint. You will monitor and incorporate push-outs and Dump to Bulk (DTB) back into the system, ensuring seamless production processes. Responsibilities * Hook up hoses, pumps, and lines for bulk concentrate or juice transfers from storage tanks. * Maintain, build, and start up filters, and inspect and maintain filter blankets. * Program touch screens for product delivery from the silo room to blend tanks. * Follow instructions on blending sheets, add proper ingredients, and accurately record amounts. * Obtain blend tank samples and deliver them to the quality laboratory for testing. * Complete blending sheets and ensure their accuracy. * Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the area throughout the shift. * Responsible for CIP sanitation of all blending lines, tanks, and equipment. * Remove empty barrels and bins from batching area to outside storage area and trailers. * Receive and unload tankers of bulk concentrates as needed. * Complete sanitation and line CIP as scheduled. Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on grinding and packing machines. Report any mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team. Assist with troubleshooting minor machine problems to minimize downtime. Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Properly store materials and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including quantities, times, and any deviations from established procedures. Maintain records of machine settings, production schedules, and quality control checks. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other production team members to achieve daily production goals. Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues or improvements in the grinding and packing process. Troubleshoot Ingredient Issues: Identify issues with ingredient quality, such as inconsistent textures, moisture levels, or expired ingredients, and report them to management or quality control teams for resolution. Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues or malfunctions in blending equipment or processes, notifying the supervisor when necessary. Inventory Management: Track the usage of raw materials, such as tea leaves and caffeine, and report any shortages or inventory needs to the production supervisor.
