Sets up and makes minor scale repairs and adjustments. * Perform span calibration and/or adjustments on scales, adjust scales linkages so it opens and shuts correctly, make minor adjustments to formers. * Efficiently operates packaging equipment which may include case sealers and robot cells. Job Title: Packaging Associate Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4 10-hour shifts (6:30am-5:00pm), Occasional overtime on Fridays Compensation: Starting at $16.00/hour Flow Distribution is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Associates to join our Manufacturing and Packaging team for an immediate start. The ideal candidate is reliable, quality-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for accurately packaging cannabis products in compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and Arizona state cannabis laws. Active Arizona Facility Agent card preferred. Duties & Responsibilities Packaging and manufacturing responsibilities including, but not limited to, counting, sorting, labeling, sealing, boxing, and taping products according to SOPs. Meet or exceed personal and team production goals set by management. Perform visual quality control checks to ensure product and packaging meet standards. Communicate immediately with the Production Manager if any product concerns or discrepancies arise. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace before, during, and after each shift. Operate all machinery and packaging equipment according to company safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Stage workstations for the next shift by preparing necessary materials and equipment. Follow all company and Arizona state compliance standards and regulations. Maintain confidentiality and handle inventory responsibly. Participate in routine cleaning, maintenance, and organization of tools and equipment. Support other departments as needed to meet production deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or supervisor. Stage orders for the Sales department in preparation for deliveries Maintain accuracy in labeling procedures Understand how and where specific products are stored in the facility Maintain an accurate count of products in active inventory at all times. Must be able to maintain an average company standard for processed packages. Maintain equipment stations in a clean and orderly fashion at all times. Assist in related work such as inventory, product preparation, trimming, sanitary practices, waste protocols, cleaning of tools and facility, etc. Learn and uphold product quality standards. Understand, abide by, and enforce AZ Department of Health Services ("AZDHS") rules, regulations, and compliance standards. Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment at all times. Complete daily checklists of tasks with efficiency and precision. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment. Safely and compliantly move cannabis products throughout the facility. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail. Responsible and reliable travel between cultivation locations. Being able to work well with others and offer support wherever is needed. Punctuality and reliability are absolutely necessary to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion. Facility maintenance and janitorial duties as scheduled. Additional duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications (Required): The ability to consistently weigh cannabis flower accurately to avoid over- or under-packaging, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining product quality. Ability to inspect cannabis flower for defects, mold, or damage before packaging, ensuring only high-quality product is sent to consumers. Ensuring that packaging is labeled correctly with all required information, such as strain name, weight, potency, batch number, and compliance warnings. Ability to follow established SOPs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards, especially around inventory tracking and seed-to-sale systems. Ability to meet packaging deadlines and maintain productivity, especially in high-demand periods or when handling large volumes of product. Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card. Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will and do what you say you will do. Criminal background checks will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.
