The Operations Lead (OL) reports to the Operations Manager and supports store processes and an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL works on all operation processes, including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks, while always demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. The OL's responsibilities require enthusiasm for vigorous lifting, carrying, moving around the warehouse-format store, and stocking. Key Roles and Responsibilities The OL performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution and operational readiness, providing troubleshooting, conditioning, and housekeeping while ensuring building, assets, and team member security. The OL coordinates directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with Company timekeeping policies, meeting labor model standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics. The OL participates in Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly zone workload and assigning tasks to deliver on store, department, sales goals, guest engagement, etc., and ensures all tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner. The OL supports the store team in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience so the store will operate effectively and profitably. The OL Drives productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results. The OL leverages daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics that support the customer experience. The operations Lead participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions. The OL processes freight, sorts and stocks products on shelves, including down stocking and end cap maintenance, while maintaining a neat, clean, and organized store.
