Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing the machinery for efficient operation by ensuring the use of appropriate tools and making certain that the tools used are functional - Proper Setup; Point of Operation; and Machine Guards.
Responsible for running and monitoring the machine while it is operating.
Inspect and monitor machines on a regular basis during the entire shift and adjust the speed of the machine as well as loading it with materials.
Promote quality control through comparison of produced products.
If a machine is making slight or minor error, it should be immediately corrected.
Recognize and pull correct materials for production.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required by Facility Maintenance Manager.
Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
Flexible Break and Lunch Schedules based on NW Line timing and operation.
May be required to work overtime including weekends and holidays as necessary.

Essential Job Functions:
