Job functions Check finished goods to ensure there is no leakage of product before packing the item. Create LPID's using the scanner and label printer at the workstation as well as logging the pallets in the daily production report. Double check the label to ensure it matches the appropriate batch being packaged. Following GMP guidelines package items into boxes, tape, shrink wrap, stack, and palletize. Will obtain training and certification on the pallet jack if placed in a position where the use of pallet jack is necessary. Performs related duties as needed. Skills: Be able to communicate with other team members. Be able to read and understand label and palletizing procedures. Be able to learn different areas of the packing process and department. Push and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly on an 8-hour or more shift. Be able to utilize the electric pallet jack, will receive training. Experience: 2-3 years in previous packing function.
