To that end, we dove into our dataset of job and salary numbers to figure out which states have the best opportunities for packers. Wisconsin is the best state for packers, where the median salary is $32,228.We found that the South is best for packers, and the Midwest is the worst. Kent, WA is the best city in the country for packer jobs, where as Wisconsin is the best state in the country.
