Job DescriptionOur Catering Packer supports Tatte's efforts to inspire, care for and nurture life, every day, by working with a team to pack catering orders. The Catering Packer is committed to uncompromising quality and craftsmanship in all aspects of their work. They finalize orders by carefully packing savory and non-savory items and preparing them for delivery to clients. As the last person to compile orders for our clients, the person in this role ensures that catering orders are packed accurately, and consistent with Tatte's standards, and are ready on time.
Summary of Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Checks all items prepared by our savory team are prepared and packaged to specifications and clean, with no drips or smudges.
Completes the packaging of every item according to packaging, labels and cutlery specifications.
Consolidates all items in an order so they are together ready for hand off for delivery or pickup.
Keeps packing station clean and free of food debris, clutter, etc.
Restocks all items that are kept in the packing station.
Maintains professional working relationships with all Tatte team members
Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

What Success Looks Like
Load and unload trucks.
Recycle used pallets for future use.
Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, orders, or other records.
Assemble boxes and pallets and use shrink-wrapping materials or banding equipment to stabilize and secure packed items.
Read pick tickets, packing slips, and follow company procedures.
Inspect, wrap, label, and transport packed skids to the proper area for shipping.
Check items for damage or defects before packing and report discrepancies.
Label Shipments: Accurately label skids and packages with relevant shipping information, ensuring documentation is correct.
Affixes shipping labels on packed items for shipment identification purposes
Safely utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move warehouse materials to and from storage locations.

Fold cases according to product type being produced. Apply labels to cases as needed. Supply line with boxes at all times. Ensure code date and PO are correct on the label.
Properly weigh out cases according to case weigher operating procedures (if applicable) and provide correct case counts.
Properly fill out and return all necessary documentation and paperwork as instructed.
Must be able to distinguish the proper packaging according to the Quality Control Specifications.
Must be aware of proper set up of all the equipment in the production line in which he/she is assigned and assist with change over machine(s) in their area, ie; carton machine, tape case sealer, check weigher, and shrink wrap.
Place product in cases according to product type being produced.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00*

The Stacker participates in the stacking of liners on pallets corresponding to the agreed customer requirements. Assist Inspectors in reviewing liners in order to ensure we continue to produce and supply our customers with liners of the highest quality.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Read construction sheet and customer requirement sheet fully in order to meet the customer requirements.
Assisting co-workers in machine setups.
Assisting co-workers in wrapping and strapping down completed liners.
Stacking liners on pallets neatly and correctly according to customer requirements.
Assist Inspectors in review the liner as it comes of the line for any quality issues.
Report any quality problems to Supervisor immediately.
Check drive rollers for needles prior to running coated material and after running felt material and/or at the beginning of the shift.
When stacking liners, keep repairs out of folds.
Consult with your Supervisor to determine correct pallet size for liner.
Continually review supplies and report to your Supervisor any shortages.
Work in a safe manner at all times by following the company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean work environment by performing cleaning duties when required.
Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
Will at times be asked to perform other duties.
Education and Experience:
GED/High School Diploma.
Satisfactorily complete 3 months on-the-job training.
Typical Physical Demands:
Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.
Requires full range of motion including eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. on a continuous basis.
Must possess basic math skills.
Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but could include shift work, weekends, evenings and/or holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
