Reporting to the Manufacturing and Operations Leader, the Packer is responsible for supporting the production process by assembling, inspecting, and preparing finished products for shipment, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. This is an on-site role at our Elk Grove Village, IL facility. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Overtime or weekends may be required. In this role, a typical day will look like: Product Assembly: Follow standard work procedures to assemble finished products while adhering to safety guidelines. May involve the use of hand tools or machinery. Must be comfortable working around chemicals, solvents, and inks, with possible exposure to chemical odors. Quality Control: Inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet required quality standards, identifying and correcting any defects or issues. Team Collaboration: Work closely with teammates, supervisors, and quality staff to improve processes, resolve production issues, and maintain smooth workflow. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Safety glasses and safety shoes are required in manufacturing areas. Troubleshooting: Detect and address issues that arise during the assembly process, coordinating with the appropriate team members to resolve them quickly.
