This first shift Assembler position starts out at $18.25 an hour and is responsible for a range of assembly operations connected with main and final assembly, sub-assembler; packing, trouble shooting, repair and adjustment of stainless-steel commercial models to meet exacting operating performance. Units are built complete at a single workstation. These positions may require daily and/or weekend overtime to meet customer expectations. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, fixtures, hoists and work instructions, the Assembler will also use their combined knowledge of both mechanical technology and electrical components to complete production tasks. GFA is hiring for multiple pallet building/stacking companies in Imlay City. Pay starts at $10. 75, raises will be given based on performance. As well as a $240 monthly attendance bonus. This position is outdoors and heavy lifting, so you must be comfortable working outside and lifting pallets consistently throughout your shift. These positions are 1st shift, Monday through Friday. These positions are also felony friendly and do not require a drug screen.
