Prospect, engage, and acquire new business across certain business lines, including Temperature Control, Intermodal, and Truckload.
Drive volume and margin growth in your assigned territory by understanding, recognizing, and consulting customers on how our innovative multimodal solutions approach can help their business.
Lead Commercial relationship: facilitate face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings, and quarterly business reviews.
Prepare and present value proposals and supply chain solutions to potential and current customers.
Deepen customer value and enhance relationships through service, integrity, and innovation.
Develop and execute growth strategies to attain the highest market share possible.
Responsible for maintaining company defined margins and improving yield and mode mix.
Develop and maintain strategic multi-level customer relationships to uncover specific needs and requirements of key decision makers.
Leverage technology through CRM to maintain robust pipelines and growth actions for collaboration with management support.
Drive sales success through internal collaboration across Hub Group departments to develop customer solutions, e.g. Account Management, Onboarding, Marketing, Pricing, Credit/collections, Sales Analytics, etc.
Maintain responsibility for volume, revenue, margin and profitability growth for all focus accounts within assigned territory.
Meet and exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales goals that will be transparently discussed with company Management.
80% of time spent in front of customers and 20% of time spent in designated office.
Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate degree preferred. Major or significant coursework in logistics and supply chain management a plus.
3 years relevant experience in supply chain/logistics/transportation preferred.
Strong presentation skills to executive audience required.
Strong writing and verbal communication aptitude and proven ability to provide creative suggestions and vision relative to closing on targeted strategic accounts.
Basic time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and the drive to accomplish goals.
Ability to develop business plans that are future-oriented, support business strategy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Valid drivers license plus insurance required.
Ability to travel (as conditions warrant).
Salary Range: Up to $120,000/year base salary plus eligibility for additional incentive/equity programs

Job Summary

Proper securing of freight with airbags and cardboard, as well as using straps, is crucial to prevent damage during transport. The dock worker position directly impacts the reliability of deliveries to customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually in compliance with state and federal DOT guidelines. Use various loading techniques, such as loading tight or cross loading.
Transport self and/or freight continuously throughout the service center on non-forgiving surfaces.
Utilize Dock Yard Management System to consistently monitor freight shipment locations throughout the service center.
Read and interpret shipping labels. Familiarity with, and in some cases ability to complete the various forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, city stripping manifests, freight bills, overage/damage movement reports and exception forms.
Hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary.
Insure the quality loading of all trailers.
Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope).
Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-pace and deadline oriented.

Essential Job Function
Plan, direct, train and implement warehouse and customer service employees to meet productivity and service goals for each customer.
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in loading and unloading products from trucks and or performing any handling or value added function for our customer.
Make sure that every employee follows the work instructions of the bill of lading, receiver or any specific work instructions
Operate in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes, OSHA requirements and Federal Labor law and requirements.
Develop and maintain a productive work team by hiring, training, motivating, apply sound communication, directing the work force in the most efficient way, praising, counseling, and discipline employees.
Utilize the performance evaluation system for recommending promotions, wage increases, and terminations. Must have a productivity program in place and track all important job characteristics, which will allow the Supervisor to be able to evaluate employees properly.
Must make sure that all equipment is in good working condition, properly maintained and all safety equipment is being used. Must have proper documentation and employee involvement to achieve this properly.
Make sure that all employees are trained properly on the equipment and they are operating it correctly.
Must make sure that the building is being maintained properly and is kept as a food grade facility.
The security of the facility and integrity of customer products is mandatory.
Supervise customer service associates to assure the office and warehouse are working in unison to provide 100 percent customer satisfaction for all shipments and receipts.
Inventory accuracy must be maintained by product and location.
All Customer accounts must be given proper priority levels that allows for required level of operations, administrative support, appropriate contacts and response to special requests.

Minimum Qualifications
Four years distribution supervisory/management experience leading a staff of 10+ employees in operations of at least 60,000 sq. ft.
Experience with WMS, metric-driven operations, labor and resource management.
College degree not required.

Be able to listen to employee's needs and concerns and be able to motivate and create teams.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.
Pass written and obstacle course for fork truck certification.

Job Summary
The dockworker must efficiently load and unload freight, ensuring that the correct items are placed on the right trucks. Safety is paramount, and Dock Workers use equipment like forklifts and manual techniques to handle materials. Proper securing of freight with airbags and cardboard, as well as using straps, is crucial to prevent damage during transport. The dock worker position directly impacts the reliability of deliveries to customers.
Primary Responsibilities
* Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually in compliance with state and federal DOT guidelines. Use various loading techniques, such as loading tight or cross loading.
* Transport self and/or freight continuously throughout the service center on non-forgiving surfaces.
* Utilize Dock Yard Management System to consistently monitor freight shipment locations throughout the service center.
* Read and interpret shipping labels. Familiarity with, and in some cases ability to complete the various forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, city stripping manifests, freight bills, overage/damage movement reports and exception forms.
* Hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary.
* Insure the quality loading of all trailers.
* Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope).
* Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-pace and deadline oriented.
