Summary:
The Wright-Patterson Site Supervisor / Field Engineering Representative (FER) is an on-site position located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH and is responsible for the planning, engineering, and support for Enterprise IT & Cyber Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) systems embedded in the 83 Network Operations Squadron (83rd NOS) OLA, Air Force Material Command (AFMC), and across all AFMC bases and other units as assigned. This role includes the implementation and sustainment of solutions, ensuring system performance, and applying industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures. This position will work closely with assigned units and will act as a liaison for AFLCMC/HNI.
This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities to manage operations effectively. The FER must leverage experience and judgment to accomplish goals while leading and directing personnel as necessary. The FER shall facilitate communication between operational communities and sustainment at various locations, provide planning and programming support for all AFLCMC/HNI upgrades and new programs, facilitate operational fielding and integration of AFLCMC/HNI programs, and interface with mission partners within the assigned area of operations. The primary focus area for this position will be supporting Air Force Intranet Control.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
* Core Tasks
* Integrated with mission partners at their respective locations, ensuring visibility and ongoing coordination and support of HNI and OPS mutual items of interest.
* Coordinate work tasks with AFLCMC/HNI PM's, MAJCOM A6 staff, and other organizations designated by the Government Sustainment PM.
* Participate in meetings and conferences for HNI supported systems to maintain situational awareness of these programs to enable effective relay of information out to the local units that the FERs represent.
* Liaison between the operations community and the PMO at meetings, conferences at all AFIN fielded locations.
* Act as technical field representatives for Sustainment and facilitate communication between the Operational Community (OPS) and AFLCMC/HNI at meetings and conferences.
* Participate in commander conferences, staff meetings, A6 director calls, IPT calls, section meetings and other relevant unit meetings involving systems and programs supporting the unit's mission involving AFLCMC/HNI deployed systems and cyber infrastructure.
* Participate in local user meetings (e.g., Daily Ops brief, Operational CCB (Configuration Control Board), Operational Engineering Review Board (ERB), Design Review Board (DRB), Ticket Review, AFIN Response Center (ARC) Ticket Review, and Change Advisory Board (CAB)) as necessary relaying relevant information between Sustainment and the local unit at these meetings.
* Keep MAJCOM, NOS and/or base personnel informed on HNI program status, progress, issues, and planning schedules.
* Provide the Government Sustainment PM with any MAJCOM or base program status issues, concerns, or questions regarding HNI program progress, issues, and planning schedules along with potential resolutions to these issues. If required, FERs shall schedule/facilitate meetings between impacted parties to assist with resolution.
* Support the ARC with OPS incident updates, communication, remediation, and escalations.
* Continuously promote awareness of Sustainment services and benefits to the OPS community
* The Contractor shall provide a monthly FER Field Report. This report shall be included in the Integrated Digital Environment (IDE). The report shall include at minimum:
* Summary of all work accomplished and the impact of this work (i.e., schedule, cost, performance)
* Description of ongoing issues/risks experienced in the field status of prior month's FER Request Form (incl. ongoing tasks)
* Aid in the planning, engineering support and troubleshooting for all AFLCMC/HNI projects, programs, and weapon systems sustainment actions, primarily through the approval of a FER Task Request.
* Provide on/offsite engineering efforts, such as equipment, configuration, troubleshooting, and installations through the approval of a FER Task Request.
* Assist in TO and TCTO validations/verifications prior to release for implementation
* Create change requests within Enterprise IT Service Management and Authorized Service Interruptions to support AFLCMC/HNI projects
* Travel to any base to support the PMO/OPS mission (Travel up to 20%).
* Coordinate and accomplish data calls and site surveys
* Technical & Infrastructure Management
* Plan, design, and implement network and systems infrastructure solutions.
* Monitor system performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
* Ensure the stability and efficiency of hardware and software systems within the operational environment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Leadership Responsibilities
* Supervise, lead, and direct work as necessary for site-specific operations.
* Employ engineering best practices to meet operational requirements.
* Provide status updates and reports on performance and technical concerns.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the program management staff and Sr. Field Operations Manager
* Risk & Compliance Management
* Ensure compliance with DoD, Air Force, and industry security standards.
* Maintain operational readiness in accordance with procedures and policies.
* Assist in conducting risk assessments and applying mitigation strategies.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
* A degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience or a total of at least six (6) years of relevant experience
* Experience supporting DoD Information Network, AFIN or equivalent.
* Information Assurance (IA) Technician (IAT) Level II Certification
* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation (v3 or higher)
* A valid and current SECRET (or higher) security clearance.

Responsibilities
Personnel Administration

Manage personnel at multiple locations, including maintenance of schedules, productivity, and shift coverage at each account.
Act as the liaison between corporate office and hourly teammates, communicating impactful updates and support issue resolution.
Ensure hourly teammates comply with requirements of transit and Bridgestone policy.
Oversee proper payroll logging, reviews and submittals.
Operations
Manage all aspects of tire operations to ensure maximum miles per tire.
Perform Fleet Analyzer reports for performance of fleet.
Partner with Sales Engineering on tire removal to ensure quality and consistency of technical recommendations and customer correspondence.
Maintain servicing tire dealer relationship with to ensure customer satisfaction.
Confirm customer adheres to contractual obligations identified in the Mileage Sales Agreement.
Communicate with management on necessary aspects of territory and field reports.
Effective travel management.

Annual Cost Analysis review with customer to establish value of lease program and explain rate changes. Negotiate renewal contracts for current customers based on rates approved by Mileage management.

Obtain and report customer mileage monthly.
Collect any un-depreciated assets for closed accounts, as necessary.
Manage transfer of assets from one account to another.
Maintain communication and updates between departments and customer.

Primary Duties

Maintain daily communication with I&C Project Management.
What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a scientific field required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Management preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical installation/troubleshooting aptitude.
Familiarity with company products is a plus.
OSHA-30 Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
Extensive domestic travel required; occasional international travel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD.
Ability to read and interpret technical mechanical and electrical documents.

Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
5+ years of experience in maintenance and project management in a food manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, GMP, HACCP).
Proven experience managing CapEx projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Proficient in CMMS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel 50%-75% to support multi-site operations.

Position Summary:
This position functions as a working supervisor to manage activities on waterproofing jobsites involving window glazing, installing
caulking and sealants, pedestrian, and traffic coatings, applying clear sealers and coatings to building exteriors, repairing elevator pits, making structural repairs, performing concrete restoration, and waterproofing above/below grade.
Essential Job Functions:

8. Inspect work is performed to Company/industry standards. Train and develop employees in proper techniques.
9. Perform work in preparing surfaces for repair. Caulk and seal joints in structures to seal them watertight; repair other issues to restore buildings to structural integrity; power wash to clean and restore buildings; apply exterior coatings to buildings;
perform concrete restoration to balconies and other exterior structures. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of waterproofing equipment, tools, and supplies.
10. Promote cooperation and communication between field and office staff; includes all reports and paperwork {receipts, pick tickets, timesheets, billing documents and customer invoicing) are submitted on time, are correct and complete.
11. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Experience/Education /Competencies:
7-10 years experience in commercial waterproofing environment; 3-5 years experience supervisory experience
Working knowledge of waterproofing products and materials regularly used on commercial projects
Able to inspect structures, identify leaks, and determine repair needs
OSHA 10 hour, First Aid/CPR and fall protection training required
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Pass Company background check, including a felony and misdemeanor check and drug test
Possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license
Use interpersonal skills; focus on solving problems and conflict; keep emotions under control
Use oral and written communication to receive instructions and ask questions; complete Company forms
