The Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a substitute instructor who is experienced, enthusiastic, and certified in wellness/ yoga to motivate, inspire, and expertly guide our guests in wellness classes and activities at The Springs. Your main responsibilities will include but, not limited to, leading assorted wellness activities, contrast bathing and guide local hikes.
Essential duties include educate the benefits of the geothermal water, activities, instruction on proper technique and safely procedures, guide guests through various activities, breathing/meditation exercises, and hiking knowledge and techniques. To ensure success as a Wellness/Yoga Instructor, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to build relationships, as well as lead wellness activities and aqua yoga classes. Your passion for health and wellness, coupled with knowledge of the local area, wellness techniques and physiology, will ensure success.
The ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:
· Current professional certification, i.e., IDEA/ACE, Modality specific Yoga certification. (Min 200-hour yoga certification).
· Personal training certification preferred.
· Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
· Warm, enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills.
· Skills necessary to teach a variety of fitness classes, e.g., stretching, water yoga, meditation, sound baths, contrast bathing and hiking.
Requirements:
Education & Certifications
