Job Description:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma or an equivalent
1-year minimum of continuous experience using a high-volume low pressure (HVLP) paint spray gun
Role and Responsibilities
Clean parts to prep for primer and paint
Measure and mask off all areas to be excluded from paint and primer
Apply paint, set up, operate and maintain tools and equipment
Use calibrated tools to ensure proper coating thickness
Touch up spots that may have been missed
Transfer parts using hand pushed carts, and operate large commercial oven to bake coatings
Use proper personal protective equipment when applicable
Maintain work records
Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition
Coordinate with Management and Inspectors to ensure compliance with FAA and internal quality standards
May assist in plating and sub-assembly as needed with masking and sealing
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
Proficient in the English language
Attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Visual abilities: Near, distant, color discrimination and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Stand for extended periods of time
Multi-limb Coordination able to bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, and arms
Arm-Hand Steadiness
Computer literate with ability to enter data, access emails, follow technical data, and file management
